The fees are ridiculous! I would rather take my chances and open a credit card dispute if there is something seriously wrong, but really I'd probably never buy anything expensive without being able to return it. I even hate when I have to pay postage to ship it back but to pay hundreds of dollars is outlandish.

Agree its ridic. Especially that sliding scale. 363 extra dollars for that cassette? Imagine what it is for a birkin or kelly.
I won’t complain about fashionphiles new policy of paying for returns lolol, compared with this fee. Plus, if u buy a bag from rebag and return it, its not covered if its lost, stolen, or damaged on its way back to them. So i will only buy from rebag if its through their ebay store, b/c they must comply with ebays return policies.
I can see it when I click on a bag. Also had cancelled my first look option. It is pricy but my opinion is that a lot of “influencers“ are using the resale sites as rental sites. It hurts the real shoppers but somewhat protects the consignment merchandise. Many a fine bag has been destroyed after a raucous wedding reception.
I did recently pick up a pair of new Tod’s shoes from TRR and they are returnabl so I guess it’s just the bags.
Wow that never even occurred to me, i thought it was mostly folks like us buying the bags. Your point makes sense - influencers buying bags to ‘be seen’ or do reveals, and then return them. And its hurts those of us who return due to undisclosed issues or the bag not actually working for us. Its like prices going up at stores due to shoplifting — the actual shoppers suffer the consequences.

Influencers. Hope they can at least slow them down. FP has the same issues.
sad it ruins it for the legit customer but I think if you have a solid history of shopping with them if there are undisclosed issues you could still get a refund.
If you have favorite brands and your brand size there are some amazing deals on NEW current shoe styles that are completely returnable.
Good point, those of us with a good sales history, hopefully that will be taken into consideration if there are legitimate issues. I think an honest track record goes a long way. And hopefully influencers will stop taking advantage of the system.
Oh wow. Right now i have wide feet so shoes aren’t a thing for me. I live in Birks….wish i could add some of those amazing shoes tho! Thank you for the info, hopefully others here will be able to take advantage of it

I just received my very first BV bag (Small loop in pink); however, there seems to be some damage to one of the corners. But, here's the dilemma, I got it for 50% off and it's the last one so can't exchange...so I'm inclined to keep it, but am afraid that the damage might get worst?
