Yay HotRodHotRod our blind dog, recently lost the use of his hindquarters. He’s so good at racing his new cart he took the checkered flag at Monterey’s Laguna Seca raceway.

My favorites are the cervo bags. They are a thick pebbled leather. They aren't quite as durable as other pebbled leather I've owned. It might vary by bag and year. I have a 2009 cervo tote that has held up beautifully. I also have a vintage intrecciato bag that looked new when I bought it used and still looks new. I can't speak to how it would hold up under heavy wear as I don't use it much. There are some discussions in other threads about how most of the older bags hold up a lot better than the new ones.Hi,
Can you please share our opinions about the durability of Bottega Veneta bags? I am really in love with them visually but I keep having fear about durability. When I browse preloved offers, they often look so worn out, lose shape, the color seems to rub off...Are there specific models that you can recommend in terms of durability? Thank you

If you don’t mind preowned the older pre 2019 Tomas Maier era bags are very well made. The styling is a bit different from the current versions but the colors and leathers are still beautiful. There is a huge reference library of older styles on this forum.Hi,

Thats wonderful you’ve been able to let go of bags that aren’t quite working for you. It can be so difficult to let go of nice bags! Its good to periodically curate and clear out. I’ve been working on that too.I recently sent two bags off for consignment, a small cervo loop hobo (I prefer the larger size) and the Plisse Veneta that Modern Leather had conditioned and treated. For my daily needs, an open-top bag has been much more convenient, and I was keeping the Veneta half zipped and not able to get into it as easily.
So far, I'm not missing them, and I'm hoping continued curating will help me use the bags I enjoy the most.
Hello! I do not have either but have been close to pulling the trigger on the bi fold with money clip but was worried that it might get bent in the back pocket and I have used money clips but they drive me nuts.Good morning! I have been eyeing a couple of BV men's wallets for myself. I have the Interecciato Credit Card Case. I have been trying to decide between the bill clip wallet and the regular bifold. The bifold look huge online. I am thinking about making a trip to the boutique in Dallas if they have both on hand. Then again the most sensible thing would be to just get a matching money clip for my cash. If anyone here has these and can help with size comparison that would be awesome. I have been using an LV pocket organizer, but looking to try something else for a change.
Hmm.Really liking Bottega's Getaway bag in the small. It appears to be a new release in their webstore, at least.
However, while I love the grey color, I already have an incoming Andiamo in that very shade.
And the fondant, while a lovely color, doesn't really work for me on that bag. I'd prefer a lighter color to better show off the handles and details.
Any idea if this style is likely to be released in more colors in the near future, like their pretty Travertine color, a light, warm brown, or a green?
I'm kind of obsessed.
