I had the worst flu ever i think, so Christmas was low key for us. Our holiday card this year was a pic of our 3 pups in my croc cabat (when i posted my reveal last year, @indiaink suggested i fill it with the pups and snap a pic…..and it was perfect for our card - Cabats and pups lolol) so it was a BV kind of Christmas this year!

Happy New Year, BVettes! Hope 2024 is happy, healthy and prosperous for all of us. And good luck to us all with all the nasty respiratory stuff going around.

I'm doing a lot of traveling this month, so I think I may get a COVID booster this weekend (those things take me down for a couple of days). My boyfriend and I will be celebrating his 50th birthday in Las Vegas soon, and we have tickets to see U2 at The Sphere. I'm excited about that!

I also recently bought a new home in Arizona! We are set to close in the middle of the month. I can't move in right away, but I'll be there to take some measurements, purchase a few appliances, get estimates for window coverings, etc.

Meanwhile, I'm hanging out in Dallas, getting the home here ready to sell.

I can't remember if there was a thread for spotting BV in the wild, but if she's on here, I want to compliment a woman carrying a Nero Nodini on Saturday. I was walking into the hair salon, looking like a hot mess with 6 months worth of roots, and a bag of McDonalds for lunch. :lol: This woman was walking out of the salon with that gorgeous Nodini, looking super chic! She did BV proud!

So cool u spotted a nodini in the wild! Nero Nodinis are the best bag, next sighting try to sneak a pix for us :biggrin:

Wow big changes. Congrats on the house, how fun! Is this your first house? Before marriage my hobby was renovating trashed 1920’s Spanish style bungalows I had three in 10 years, loved it so much I married a contractor :lol:

Now that's a hobby my boyfriend (an architect) and I (an interior designer) can get behind! :lol:

This is my first time going through the buying process on a house. Until now, I've only owned homes through marriage or inheritance. Otherwise, it made more sense for me to rent apartments, where I could just call maintenance for repairs and take advantage of amenities.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to fixing this new house up. It's an older home that was flipped, so it's pretty much a blank, neutral slate.
