The third one is Les Chemins de l'Ile de France, Françoise De La Perriere, 1953This is a quite rare scarf, I think.
I think that none of the 3 scarves has been reissued, but correct me if I'm wrong in this or in any other information I wrote and add any other information you have!

I've seen reissues of the Italian Comedy.

My first vintage was CERES of 1st issuance. Later I got a rare Profile, a Cles les, Musee , BRIDE DE GALA of the 1957 issue and loved them all. The collection is growing and my favorite so far is prob Tahiti and Biarritz.

I heard a lot of great things about Pucci, but almost all of her prints are modern and geometrical. I personally am more drawn to classical styles and feminine prints like flowers and animals. I will for sure check Pucci scarf out some day I am sure! Does Pucci scarf come in thick twill like Hermes?

I do have heavy silk twill, silk crepe and cotton Pucci scarves. The twill were more costly than the silk crepe. The cotton tend to be inexpensive and are great to use during the hot and sticky summer season. They are a good design value.

What time period did Hermes produce jacquard scarves? Did they make them before the 1980's? I have not seen very early jacquard pieces from Hermes and would love to see examples. Why did Hermes stop making the jacquard?

Bumping this way old thread with my addition.

My dad got me this Hermes scarf from Paris when I was in my teens in the 80s.

Bride De Cour 90cm

According to the color chart, the colors appear similar to
zinzolin/champagne/sanguine/jade

I just inherited this vintage scarf from a Lady. She was 40 years old in 1948 and 50 years old in 1958. My guess it's from the 50s but I'm no expert. Could anyone give me advice how to find out more about the design. It's my first vintage piece and obviously very dear to me. The silk is in excellent condition, just needs to be cleaned and I want to frame it.

I just got the details about this scarf from a dear friend in France. It's called "Gastronomie" by Christiane Vauzelles and it was issued in 1963. The details and style of the roses speak early 60s.

Thank you jetSetGo and JRT gal [emoji1] it's my first vintage piece. I'm a newbie when it comes to scarfs, but the colours remind me of the leather colours craie, graphit and a light grey colour slightly darker than pale gris. The grey tones go well with the silver pieces pictured in this scarf and its a grey neutral. I will frame it next to my silver cabinet but first it will travel to NY for cleaning. The silk is in excellent condition and strong but I prefer to frame it.

Jacquard a were used as early as 1950s , maybe late 40s

No one knows why the jacquard ceased as background on printed scarf , more expensive to manufacture ? Imho not really , I believe it stopped because the fabric is old fashioned looking , not streamlined and modern

Jacquards stopped about the same time - early 2000s - as Hermes went into the modern Bali Barrett designs

there are new jacquards where the whole design is woven not printed - very different thing

The grey gastronomie is from the early 1960s , there were several almost monochrome cws , except the grey is the only one where the roses - middle left - are not in contrasting colors , the roses are red on the blue cw

Lovely c/w Serva1. I have a probably newer version with a black background in an early type of semi transparent fabric. Much prefer your beauty. It will look perfect next to your silver and I'd love to see it next to our vintage pewter collection.
