One other random question... about a year ago my SA showed me the P18.

I made a comment about the bag being a little tricky to get into because of the strap crossing the opening. She then suggested a few alternate ways to handle the strap and lock rather than threading the strap through the double rings and then attaching the lock like the bag is always shown.

Whatever she did gave the bag a nice self-close but made it easier to get into and at the time I though to myself "ohhh sneaky!" because it was something I never would've considered. And of course I can't for the life of me remember how she arranged the strap and lock relative to the rings.

What do you P owners do with the strap and lock?

And also why are there 2x rings on one size of the P? I vaguely remember this having to do with her creative arrangement of the strap/lock.

Does anyone know if it’s easy to get a Picotin 18 in either malachite with gold hardware or anemone? (For reference I live in NYC.)

Also, pardon my ignorance, but what is the current US price for a Picotin 18? Thanks!

Hi! new to this board so hoping I am posting in the right place. My MIL gave me a Picotin 18 for Christmas. It is essential for me to have a crossbody strap as I have neck problems. One is do you know which straps are compatible? Second is I want to see what other colors are available is there a way to check universally, its impossible to get through to local stores and its pulling teeth to get them to tell you anything. I have black with GHW, and the only other I was offered was Black with PHW. I was thinking maybe a blue or taupe/neutral I am in South Florida, and help would be appreciated as I am new to this board!!! Thank you

Fortunately on the day, there was another customer in store who were carrying Picotin 18. I was able to compare them easily. To those who wish an under the radar, low key, relax appearance minus the heaviness then Picotin is the right choice. I would like to get another Picotin 22 in GHW. Next year mission.
