Ode to the Picotin

My new SA showed me a rouge tomate GHW Picotin 22 a few days ago, and although I turned it down (I am after my first B and wanted to stay focused on my goal), I seriously cannot stop thinking about this bag. I was surprised how much I loved the color in person too. A Picotin 22 is definitely on my list, but I’m not sure if I made the right choice passing on the bag or if I should just keep waiting and focusing my attention (and spend) on non-bag items to build up my profile. Are Picotins hard to come by? How do you guys feel about rouge tomate? Do you guys find that it’s a good/useful bag to use during the pandemic?

I love rouge tomate so it gets my vote. Picos are not generally difficult to acquire - the challenge is finding it in a size and colour/hardware combo that you want. Personally, I believe in purchasing something that you love and will enjoy using. Let us know if you decide to pick up the P22!

I got my first picotin 18 in July. I never thought I was a top handle girl - love me a crossbody! But I find the size 18 so cute and fun in a pop of color. I’ve been slowing using mine on the weekends as social activities pick up. During the week for any quick errands, I am very much into using a belt bag.

Update: Seems the rouge tomate is gone (I decided against it... and then thoughts of the Pico came RAGING back into my heart), but my SA now has a 22 in bleu nuit with GHW that she's holding for me until I see her next. Yay? Nay? I have not seen it in person yet so am curious what you all think of the pico in a more understated color. I think the Picotin is so beautiful and adorable in the brighter colors, but I pretty much only wear neutrals and own NO bright bags so I'm also scared of committing to a bright bag right off the bat. Bleu nuit might be a good first venture outside of my usual black bag?

Love Blue nuit! Definitely great color for a neutral lover. Definitely go see it!

I have a pico 18 in Bleu Nuit and love it but I definitely want to add a fun colour as well. Good luck deciding!
