Ode to the Picotin

HI everyone,

After going back and reading about fourty pages I've got a few question I'm hoping someone can help with.

1. I'm 5'1 and very petite, I keep going back and fourth with the sizes 18&22. I'm used to smaller purses like LV alma bb and fendi mini peekaboo, but don't want the picotin to look like a mini or oversized bag on me. Any suggestions?

2. I see that the pico is very hard to come by online, but what are my chances in Paris? Do they play games like they do with Bs and Ks? Will I have to spend a certain amount first?

3. I'm hoping to get a cooler gray with phw. Any suggestions on colors? I think etoupe may be too warm. Etain looks like a good option, but I've never seen the color in person.

4. I googled prices and saw on bragmybag they listed the price for the pico at
PM - 2675 us dollars and MM 2950 us dollars/2060 euro
Is this accurate? does anyone have the euro pricing for the pm size?

Sorry for all the questions, this will be my first leather item from Hermes and do not want to pick the wrong bag.
Thank you in advance!
I too am 5'1" and I have the Picotin 18. I love it, but I much prefer small bags, as I really only carry essentials in my purse. One thing to be aware of is that a full size wallet doesn't fit well in the 18. It is fine if you have a smaller sized wallet. I don't have a 22 so I can't speak to how they compare.

Thank you for responding. Do you by chance have a mod shot with your bag?
I don't use a full sized wallet, so it's all good with that.

hello, does anyone have picotin 18 with alligator handles? Wondering how the handles will age over time

also not sure how much extra this model of picotin 18 costs, since it is not listed in the price reference guide thread

Sorry if this has been answered - but the picotin 18 with croc handles is about $4,100 plus tax while the picotin 22 is about $4,400 plus tax.

I’m about 5’3 - not small. I carry the 22 and I am thinking about trading to the 18 :)
I normally don’t carry much, just a small wallet phone key pouch and chapstick.
22 is too roomy for me to carry just those essential .. hehe

Mod shot for ref
22 can easily fits me as a shoulder bag, even I’m quite muscular, but I prefer having maxi twilly tided as it looks cuter (I guess)

I’m 5’1 about 104 lbs and am now thinking I should’ve got the 18. The 22 is big!

I am 5’1 as well, and have pico 22 in bleu nuit & love it. I am used to medium size handbags though, and am partial to to them vs small/mini size. Understandable though if smaller bags work better for you.

I've been looking at Hermes for the last few years but I'm finally ready to pull the trigger to purchase my first handbag. I'd been going back and forth on which one - GP or Pico. After finally going into my local Hermes store, I believe that I've finally decided on the Pico 22 and although I'm open to colors, bleu nuit is at the top of my list. Is it possible for you to post a picture of your beautiful pico for me?

I'm happen to be heading into NYC tomorrow with an appointment up on Madison in the Hermes area so even though I know they'll be busy, still hoping to looking around and try my luck.

Sorry, but I am traveling currently & don’t have access to my pico. Good luck tomorrow.
