22 looks too big on you. I'm 5'6". Initially I bought P22 as it can fits on my shoulder but it looks bulky as I'm quite slim. Finally I sold it off and found a P18. For shoulder bag, I prefer a tote as it's slimmer. I can fit the same basic stuff in P18 & P22. I like P18 for handheld much better too. I'm using P18 as my day bag and I can't see why you cannot carry it to work. I have a DIY bag's insert and my bag is sitting upright all the time.Fellow H ladies! I'm new to Hermes and am planning to get a picotin either in the 18 or 22. I am just shy of 5ft (I am very short) and don't usually wear heels.
Initially, I wanted the 22. My lovely SA called me to view a picotin 22 in store. Here's a photo of me modelling the 22 in store. I end up didn't getting it as I feel that the base is a bit bulky. I also had the opportunity to try on a picotin 18 and it suited me a lot better. my SA also agreed that the PM size is nicer.
I'm in a dilemma. Should I get the 22, even though it's big on me and I find the base bulky, but I can carry it on my shoulder and bring it to work?
Or should I get the 18 when it's the cutest bag ever, but probably not suitable to bring to work as it is too small?
I find myself in a dilemma. If I'm going to spend a considerable amount of money on a bag, I want to USE it to its full potential. A 22 means I can carry it 5 times a week to work; but an 18 means I'll only carry it twice a week on weekends.
Any ladies who's 5ft???
Sorry to be dense, but how do P18 and P22 and other numbers correspond to PM, MM, and GM? Thanks
Yes, i saw it in the 18cmHas anyone heard of a Picotin in the new Sauge/Sage color?
Just received another phone call from an SA offering me a picotin 22 in black ------ that's my second offer in a week's time. Both offers were the same size and color. My previous post was on page 211 (with photos of me modelling the black picotin 22)
will black be boring/old (I'm 25, catching up on age haha); or will it be just fine for work/normal day to day?I looooove Hermes colors but I still prefer something under the radar
I did tell my SA I wanted a neutral color and she said that colors like etoupe or etain will require a long wait.
Thank you H ladies![]()
Sorry if this is a double post but has anyone seen a Trench or Sage Picotin before?? Do they exist? Thanks, Kath
