what are LxW dimensions of your pareos?
I am looking online at a Bleu Nuit MP with dimensions reported 36x68 inches and that doesn’t match the dimensions given in this thread or current H.com products.
thx!
Mine meassures 173x92cm. Odd numbers, but the silk squares also are not exactly 90/70/45 cm...
Sent you a PM with pic of tags...

How would you find the name and background of this pareo? I tried Scarf ID thread but no responses. I see clues as to mythical foundations, but web searches and database searches reveal nothing using Hermes, Herse, Aphrodite, serpent, sea serpent....and why does Hermes have a almost-like French horn?

ebay seller recalls purchasing 1992 “Year of the Sea”. Pik borrowed from her listing, but since received this cotton beauty, I will work on photographing.

Update with second photo: Did find this (screenshot above) through yet another pareo general search today keywords "merman" and "Mermaid". Note: This scarf reflects a signature close to Julie Abadie's sig on Zephyr/Zephir. My pareo isn't signed, and usually they aren't, right? So is one of these a fake?

Update: The images of the "merman" and "mermaid" are also reflected in Julie Abadie's "Zephyr", or "Zephir", 1992 or 92-93, as shown in a couple eBay listings 1/7/2019, and database for luxury-scarves.com.
