Snausages! I am speechless at how gorgeous this pareo is and how amazing it looks on you! LOVE the colors, design, and YOU in it!I probably speak for many here when I say @bunnycat has made me a bit obsessed about pareos. Coupled with my growing Alice Shirley obsession how could I resist this UTW? (Had to try it on even tho I was wearing a tshirt.)
like @Nomad said, the cotton isn’t as airy as, say, a moussie. Looking to The Maestra for guidance

I can't help with information, I am afraid. But I can say congratulations @Nomad-- what a fun and perfect design and the other is adorable also. Please post what you learn...Hey all. I am always on a hunt for pareos. I didn’t find any other thread to ask this.
Does anyone know if this is a new pareo or older season? I just bought it on H.com, but have NO memory of ever seeing it. There is no info on a google search either. Anyone know anything?

Thanks for any pareo help.
Just wanted to share in case you weren't aware that quite a few of us use pareos to be scarves in the warmer months/climes.Hermes needs to make more cotton silk blend scarves for those of us living in hot weather areas but still deal with AC... you only make 1 design a year Hermes and it's always in the men's section! Step it up!
I am listening to the cacophony as I type - it’s not even that bad yet… usually an outdoor phone conversation is out of the question during hot summer days here. Love that last colorway! It’s also out in a beach towelA Jan Bajtlik cotton pareo is up on several countries' websites, including Canada and the US.

It's called Le Chant des Cigales, or the Song of the Cicadas, which seems appropriate for this summer. I found this posting on Jan's IG site from six days ago:
“Les Chant des Cigales” @hermes original painting is made in gouache on paper, 95 x 150 cm, 2022. The sketch for the painting was made with watercolors on A3 paper.
Inspired by the atmosphere of the south of France, the design reflects lush vegetation with large brush strokes. Umbrella pines, cacti and almost tropical leaves intertwine, reflecting the character of the Mediterranean Sea and its beaches. Summer is hot, the sun is at its zenith and the atmosphere is so summery that you can almost hear it “The Song of the Cicadas”!
I think that this is the original painting.

Here are some other colorways that I've found, in addition to the first one I posted above.
