First-time poster here!
I'm having a hard time deciding on whether to keep this beautiful Lindy 30 in Rouge Casaque that I just got from Fashionphile. The color and condition are gorgeous, way better in person than on the listing.

I've had my eyes on a size 26 for a long time, but I was out for one on the pre-loved market. Lately it's been terribly hard to find one at a price I was willing to pay for pre-loved, so I pulled the trigger on this one. Quarantine has given me a bad itch to buy stuff.
I'm quite petite, 4'11" (maybe 5' on a really good day) and I find the 30 to be quite heavy with only essentials (picotin 18 fits everything I need comfortably). I can't decide if it's too heavy for practical use, and I have to admit it's a little large for my frame. Compared to my LV Neo Noe (my pre-covid work bag) though, I don't think it looks too outrageous.

For those of you who have both sizes, is there a big difference in the weight and size? I've gone back and forth so many times on whether I will come to love this bag more as I use it, or if I will regret removing the tags!

also please disregard my messy WFH set up in the background, lol.

I have both sizes. The L30 is great for traveling. But the L26 is my favorite for everyday. Especially in the winter when I want hands free. I haven't used my L30 since I got the L26's because it's too big for everyday (I am a bit taller at 5'2"). Unless you are going to use the L30 for travel I would hold out for the perfect L26. I cant suggest anyone ever settle for a bag. It's too much money for something to sit around gathering dust.

Thanks, that's very helpful! I can't see myself using the L30 for travel either since it's so heavy. If it weren't for the color, I'd have an easier decision but I think it may just be too large for practical use.

I've been doing some research on minis as I'd like a grab and go crossbody bag that carries just what I need. Tried the evy tpm but a bit too small. Contemplating the mini bolide or the the mini lindy and think that the lindy might be perfect. I just want to carry readers, sunnies, compact silk'in, phone, keys and mask but I don't want to have to completely strategically pack. What do you ladies think? would this be the one?

There's a thread dedicated to the mini Lindy so you might find that helpful. Also, here's a post on what fits inside. :)

Would likely fit without cases without much struggle. With glasses cases, it would be tight and perhaps not possible.

A friend on another thread posted what can fit in it and I was pleasantly surprised - I never gave any of the mini bags a thought except
For the toolbox 20 but now mini lindy is on my radar - I wonder if I can share her photo though - let me ask her first !

How difficult is it to get a Lindy in the specifications you want? Do you have to have a purchase history?
As all things H, it partially depends on your country/store but in general, as long as you aren’t asking for a mini lindy, you should be able to purchase any Lindy that they have in stock. The issue then becomes waiting for one to arrive in your specifications which is unpredictable in the Hermes world. Also, a purchase history wouldn’t hurt as it would make you more familiar and in the front of the mind of your SA when the bag comes in, but in most places they would not require you to buy other things before letting you buy the Lindy assuming it’s in stock. Good luck!

Not that difficult especially during the pandemic coz not everyone is spending...
Just call or drop by your local boutique with your specs and let them know you are looking for one. It’s pretty easy from where I’m based at (asia) without any prior history of spending but they dun display them here though
