For what it's worth, rouge casaque is my personal favorite true red (and this is within the H world of reds in which I love so many!) This is a beautyFirst-time poster here!
I'm having a hard time deciding on whether to keep this beautiful Lindy 30 in Rouge Casaque that I just got from Fashionphile. The color and condition are gorgeous, way better in person than on the listing.
I've had my eyes on a size 26 for a long time, but I was out for one on the pre-loved market. Lately it's been terribly hard to find one at a price I was willing to pay for pre-loved, so I pulled the trigger on this one. Quarantine has given me a bad itch to buy stuff.
I'm quite petite, 4'11" (maybe 5' on a really good day) and I find the 30 to be quite heavy with only essentials (picotin 18 fits everything I need comfortably). I can't decide if it's too heavy for practical use, and I have to admit it's a little large for my frame. Compared to my LV Neo Noe (my pre-covid work bag) though, I don't think it looks too outrageous.
For those of you who have both sizes, is there a big difference in the weight and size? I've gone back and forth so many times on whether I will come to love this bag more as I use it, or if I will regret removing the tags!

also please disregard my messy WFH set up in the background, lol.
Gold verso in Evercolor with Rose Azalee interior was available but not in Swift.Does anyone know if the L30 currently is or ever was available in either of the two combos below? And if so, any chance someone out there has a Href they could share?
- Swift, gold, GHW
- Swift, gold, GHW, verso interior
Thanks![]()
Thanks @Meta - love that combo but I think I'd still lean toward picking Swift. Do you know if the Swift/gold/GHW exists(ed)?Gold verso in Evercolor with Rose Azalee interior was available but not in Swift.
No, not that I recall. (That said, I'm not 100% sure.) Closest was probably Tressage Lindy in Swift but it had phw, not ghw. Thanks @Meta - love that combo but I think I'd still lean toward picking Swift. Do you know if the Swift/gold/GHW exists(ed)?
Thanks, I've seen that tressage, very pretty. Maybe I'll do PHW, though I do love gold with GHW...No, not that I recall. (That said, I'm not 100% sure.) Closest was probably Tressage Lindy in Swift but it had phw, not ghw.
I would suggest pick a color that you love as decision making point. For example I wanted a bambou and it’s only available in Clemence. Both leathers are wonderful, Clemence is a bit heavier but with such small bag weight does not matter. Personally I prefer crossbody bag in more “durable“ leather like Clemence which easily wipe it down for color transfer from jeans.Mini lindy owners, do you recommend swift or clemence? thanks for any advice!
Thanks Tonka! that makes a lot of sense. I would love a dark blue with ghw or maybe a gold ghw....I would suggest pick a color that you love as decision making point. So i just had to post an update, because I was seriously tripping at how big the L30 seemed when I got it from Fashionphile. I have never inspected an L30 in person aside from seeing it on other people in passing, so when it was larger than expected out of the box, I just figured it was just me. Turns out, Fashionphile mislabeled it as an L30 but was in fact an L34. I don't know why I didn't measure it right away out of the box! So on a 4'11" frame, understandably it was just way too large to use. I feel so stupid LOL.I have both sizes. The L30 is great for traveling. But the L26 is my favorite for everyday. Especially in the winter when I want hands free. I haven't used my L30 since I got the L26's because it's too big for everyday (I am a bit taller at 5'2"). Unless you are going to use the L30 for travel I would hold out for the perfect L26. I cant suggest anyone ever settle for a bag. It's too much money for something to sit around gathering dust.

I did end up finding a beautiful Magnolia L26 from Rebag which I just got today (prompting me to actually measure the RC one). It's perfect and I couldn't be happier! Now for more things to reopen in LA so that I can take her out...
I can see why! It's such a practical yet adorable size!I love my L26's! When I got my first one a few years ago I used it non-stop for at least 8 months. I had to force myself to change bags!
I think the length looks totally fine but I get that it could feel like it looks too short - I am the same height as you are and wear my crossbody bags on the long side... H's short cross-body straps is a pet peeve and I've heard I'm not alone
