Thanks ladies.

@Monique1004 This is found preloved however I don’t see any signs of use. Personally I think rouge grenat is a mature color (the reason I got it to match my age [emoji12]). I feel this is the only red hue I would wear now on a bag (have sold all my other bright red’s/pink’s).

I saw a rouge grenat lindy 26 too in stamp C. I guess it’s not rested as yet.?

Hi Everyone, my apologies if this is a repeat question here: I am considering purchasing my first Lindy 30 but cannot decide on the leather. I am considering the option of Evercolor or Swift. Can anyone who owns a Lindy in one of these leathers please offer some insight on how these leathers have been holding up and if you favour one leather over another in a Lindy? TIA!!

I only have one Lindy and she's in Clemence leather and I loooveeee it because it's so squishy and scratch-resistant and perfect for the Lindy shape. However, I've seen Evercolor in person and it's very pretty and seems to be more scratch resistant than delicate Swift. I vote for Evercolor if I had to choose between the two (but Swift seems like it would be more amenable to being squishy for the shape). No Clemence for you?

Thank you @Cygne18 for your reply!! I find Clemence to be a bit heavy so I was considering a lighter leather. With that said, I haven't ruled out Clemence, but was thinking of branching out into a different leather since there rest of my H bags are otherwise Togo or Clemence. Decisions, decisions....So difficult when I love everything :P

I have a Lindy 30 in Evercolor and got her in June last year. Initially, I was afraid this smooth looking leather will be prone to scratches but surprisingly, she’s holding well and corners of my bag though bummed into stuffs at times, was not scratched or anything like that.

If you want the Lindy to be in fortune cookie shape, then Evercolor leather could not be in this shape. HTH.

Hi Renet: thank's for sharing your experience. Oh, I didn't realize Evercolor won't fold into the fortune cookie shape as easily as I guess Clemence? Ok that's something to consider.
I'm glad you are enjoying your Lindy and that it is holding up well!

I had a L30 in clemence leather n recently acquired L26 in swift. I must say the swift leather feels lighter on my shoulder and easier to carry on the shoulder and on the arm. Clemence leather I do feel it’s heavier. After trying n carrying both clemence n swift leathers would recommend swift leather for Lindy

Thank you for your reply. That's what my concern was with the Clemence. I do intend to use it for when I travel for work and therefore it will be a full bag. I don't want the weight of the leather to make it too heavy. When less full, does it fold nicely into a fortune cookie shape?

Clemence folds nicely for me into a fortune cookie
I don’t carry much wallet/ cosmetic pouch/id card for work/metro card/cell phone

I don’t know if it was my batch or it’s the normal behavior for clemence leather treatment but my L30 has white spots appeared on the body of the bag. I freaked out and took back to H. It turns out H SA told me it’s the natural fat seeping thru the leather. Use a blow dryer to gently blow dry away the white spot.

Can you take a picture of the white spots you mentioned? I got a Clemence Lindy a few months ago and notice small white patches appearing on my bag as well, I was so puzzled since I thought they were scratches but I was pretty sure I didn’t bump my bag into anything.

Sorry I don’t have the L30 clemence Anymore
It’s little white spot. Almost like someone drop white paint on your bag. I did this and the white spot went away

I held a hairdryer (not too close) n gentley blow the hot air against white spot. I was told the heat will dissolve the white fat from the leather.

There's a thread here that addresses the white spots on leather. HTH.
