Never knew I would be so in love with Evelyn’s. This is my second evie 29, vert cypress…
Looking to purchase an evelyne PM in gris perle directly from H. Does anyone know if this color PM is currently being sold in stores or how colors are released?
Would you pay above retail for your dream color on the pre-loved market? Seems like stores have been wiped clean lately and that the pre-loved market may be my only option…any input would be much appreciated!

Not sure if this is the place to post, but I'm torn between an evelyne TPM in taupe/bleu indigo strap/GHW and bleu saphir/GHW.
I originally asked for gold, but with supply issues, it looks like it's not an option currently. I was looking for something to wear with light and neutral colored outfits as all of the bags I currently own are black or dark brown.
Most people have told me to go with bleu saphir. I'm okay with color, and figured I could get a lighter colored strap to match with lighter colored outfits. Any recommendations?

Both bags will be great. If the bleu saphir is Clemence, it will be a beautiful navy as opposed to a bright sapphire color. Personally (as someone owning a bleu nuit TPM that's a bit too neutral and a BE TPM that is very bright, as well as a gold TPM) the BS is a great medium/neutral blue for this bag and I would probably choose that. Think of it simply as navy vs brown and hope that helps!
I was in the same situation and went with bleu saphir with gold hardware, as I found it easier to pair with outfits and the color combo is quite rare. The indigo strap on the etoupe bag made it challenging to pair and I also believe this color is more readily available.

Interesting that you were offered the same options! I was also told by a friend that the bleu saphir/GHW combo would be snatched up by someone else, if not me. Thank you so much for your help! Looking forward to adding some blue to my collection!

Hello everyone, what do you think of Evelyne in barenia leather? I asked my SA for a mini evelyne in gold however, seems like they don’t have it coming for the spring/summer collection instead she offered me a chai or barenia. TIA
I adore Barenia, also as an Evelyne. It is super lovely, especially once it has developed a patina
But since it scratches easily it’s not everyone's cup of tea. Barenia Faubourg is more sturdy. There is a Ode thread for Barenia which I can highly recommend. I think I’ve seen pictures of older Barenia Evelynes there.
I have an Evelyne PM in Barenia and love it. Haven’t had any issues with scratching. My very favorite Hermes leather! Is the smaller size made in Barenia? I’ve never seen one.
