How user friendly do you find your Evelyne PM? I have a 10 month old baby, and am consudering Speedy 25 as an alternative.
Usability and looks :) are key - I’m less concerned about the brand, craftmenship and similar.
Thanks so much

I find the Evelyne PM very useful for everyday life with kids. I keep 1-2 diapers and a small pack of wipes in there along with my usually essentials (wallet, phone, keys). I have my mommy bag backpack with more diapers/wipes/change of clothes/food supplies and leave them either at the bottom of the stroller or in my car depending on how long I’m out with my kids (when they were younger). Now my kids are older (3&7.5) so I don’t even need to bring the backpack anymore.

I do appreciate the crossbody as I still need to keep my hands free to grab the kids or help them with something.

I am considering an Evelyn but not sure if it is the right bag for me with kids grown up. Wonder if there are any older users of the Evelyn without little kids who find it very useful.
Yes! Count me in. It is such an “easy” bag, and I seriously doubt this is a bag I would have even considered when my kids were young. It’s certainly not something I would have packed with juice boxes and wipes. I enjoy the hands-free aspect of the Evelyne, the style & the comfort, whether it’s waiting in line at McDonalds or Fogo de Chao (shout out Houston), Neiman Marcus or Target.

I don't have any kids but love my evelyne pm. Love it a crossbody and I even fold the strap in half and tie with a twilly to make it a hobo. Love it both ways.

I am 71 and love Evelynes. Years ago I did not like them because of the huge "H" but my life has become more and more casual and the cross body style is very handy. I see many young women in my area with Evelynes, usually GM.
I wish Hermes made it easier to order custom straps, as the older bags have shorter straps and I am mot crazy about adjustable strap...too much metal for my taste.

Hi
I had a similar dilemma! Was debating between black, gold and etoupe. I thought black was best---but really gold just looked best on me with my coloring and all. So I ended up going with the gold. I also loved the contrast stitching--which the black didn't have. The contrast stitching really changes the feel of the bag.

You made a great choice!
As much as I like & wear black (I have a closet full of black) gold looks really special on an Evie

I own an Evelyn & my children are grown. It’s a great bag & has a chic style. It is appropriate for every age. I’m happy to have it as part of my collection!

I’m 51 with no kids and my Evelyne GM is one of my most used bags. It’s just so easy and comfortable to wear. Hands-free isn’t just for moms — I love mine for running errands, shopping, walking my dog, etc. I also have a PM that will probably get more use in the summer when I’m not carrying gloves, etc.

I’ve never thought of the Evie as a “mommy bag,” just a great everyday bag!
