I have 2 evercolor bolides. My mini bolide does have slouch. My experience is that it softens quickly, even on small bags like the mini bolide. My 25 has held up much better than the mini bolide because the 25 is more solid and structured than the mini. Personally, I choose color over the leather b/c I will wear the bag if the color is what I like - the leather becomes a secondary consideration. You already have 2 chai bags -- maybe get something else, like the gold.Happy Sunday from US!
Question for you all bolide owners:
So in my mind, a perfect combo of mini bolide would be something like quebracho in chèvre- light brown/ warm beige in the more durable leather. Chai is also a color I kept thinking about (I own an Evelyne in chai & clemence), but as far as I know there's only chai in evercolor, and plus it's from previous season.
However, after seeing an evercolor bolide 25 in gold, I doubted if insisting on chèvre is really necessary. Gold on evercolor is much brighter (than clemence) and it's a real eye candy!
Would you recommend waiting for the perfect combo (something similar to quebracho or chai in chèvre), or just go with whatever color of my liking in evercolor? Does evercolor really get worn or slouchy that easily than chèvre?
I've started to think maybe etoupe (more in chèvre) is a good one too... but all photos of etoupe in chèvre I've seen online looked so dark

I do care about color more than leather, I think. Just that I’ve heard chèvre wears much better than evercolor and it’s more water resistant. Not that I plan to wear my leather bag in heavy rain, but as a model that people praised about travel-friendly I’d at least want to elevate it into a daily/ go-to bag
I do have bag insert/ organizer ready so it won’t look that slouchy… I hope

It’s hard for me to explain what I am thinking typing my thoughts .. but here goes:
For instance the garden party shows different models too, or is this different than the bolide, like the patch model isn’t included in the bolide advertisement?
Is there another H bag that is similar to the bolide where a certain type shape design is not included together in the advertisement of that one named designer bag? Seems the garden party has different designs but they are included together?

This is just a web feature, it's not a catalogue intended to list every model of a bag?! Every GP model is not shown at the link you posted, either. It's just whatever H.com thought they should show online, given what's in production.

W/R/T the Bolide, again, the 1923 has been the recent focus with its 100th anniversary 🤷♂️

I think it's just an incomplete catalog and not to be taken seriously. For example, the entire Plume line is missing, even though the bag is one of their oldest models and has appeared as recent as the SS24 runway, in different sizes, too.

It's just showing one style, and again not showing the options for women. So who knows what else they have omitted.
I’m on “pause” for my hermes journey with my SA after getting B25 and Mini Kelly over the course of 2 years. I’ve decided to try getting a non-quota bag online and finally scored Bolide 25 in Black/PHW epsom leather! Before, I was debating if I should ask my SA about it but wasn’t sure if this is easy to get or have to wait a couple of months. So glad I got it online! I never tried wrapping Twilly on the handle but I think this one can get some color. Do you think this Twilly that has dark shades will look nice with the bag?
