The ones I can find are not from recent years, so the bag you shared (which is from 2016 in Anemone which was released in 2014/2015 if I recall correctly) still seems to be an exception, not the norm. I can only tell you what I have seen (or not seen) across the countries I have travelled and what I have been informed about at my home store and in Paris since I had been looking for one myself for a long time. With H you never know and there might of course be special push offers for certain stores which might have been the case for the bag you have found and which might explain the rare combination of model, leather and colour. It doesn’t mean all 31s in Epsom are not authentic. At this point, my SM is only able to order the 31 in Clemence and the 30 in Epsom and to my knowledge this has at least been the case for the past 2-3 years.
You could probably also SO one if given the opportunity but I don’t have the list of available leathers for the Bolide at hand.
Thank you for the very enlightening explanation. I have dreams of owning a bolide 31 in Epsom and seems like it’s pretty much impossible since I’m no where near the status of being offered a SO. Still, good to learn so much about it. Looking through the gorgeous bags in this thread, it does seems that clemence is the preferred leather of choice for size 31.
I can only encourage you to continue looking for preloved ones. I know the search can be tough but there will certainly be one for you out there. And maybe just try the 1923 in size 30 in the store, you might come to like it (it took me some time but now that they come with a longer shoulder strap etc I moved on to looking for a 30 instead of a 31). It is cleaner in my eyes which of course is very subjective but just want to point out that there are several options for you. And even might be worth having a chat with your SA about your wish, maybe there is a way

Thank you. When my SA texted me, I was like but I already have other reds and she said braise is different. She described it as a true red. So I went to look at the bag and as usual she was right
I have other bags in rouge H and Rouge de Couer. And braise falls in the middle with rouge H being darker and rouge de couer having a touch of orange. The only Bolides in exotic skins i’ve seen this year have all been the Bolide 1923 versions. Has anyone seen other Bolides in exotics recently?
