Oh dear, WeN. This is terrible news. I checked my pds, and only found a speck on one that appeared to be part of cashmere, deeper than elsewhere, but it does not hother me. So sorry for this headache for you. I think white background shawls show everything, and since I have quite a few, I have learned to tolerate the imperfections. It looks beautiful on you.

I checked mine as well (CW06) and found similar specks. Not sure how I feel about them yet. May try to exchange although the specks may be throughout the whole batch.
This is very bad, it’s hard to fathom why Hermes’ standards are slipping to this degree. One of the reasons why they command such astronomical prices is precisely because of their standard of quality, and customer service. This is exactly why a brand’s perceived value begins to slide.....hope you get a full refund and a very heartfelt apology....Okay so I promised to report back after receiving the second Samourai and wow, I'm speechless.

I slowly unfold the shawl examining it and there it is, a red sticker next to a stain, which to me indicates that this is flagged. Yet somehow someone overlooked this and packed this into plastic packaging and sent it to warehouse as inventory.
Since I'm inspecting this shawl anyway, I then discover that one can see faint black lines along the hem. Someone didn't do a very good job of rolling the hems fully before sewing them as the black line is what I presume to be the outline. This perhaps doesn't show on other cw like 03, 05, 07 and 12 that have strong contrast colors but on a light background like 01, there it is.

I think I'm going to attempt to find another in store, (there weren't any so far, hence when this popped up online, I quickly ordered it) but I'm not going to be very hopeful. Right now, I'm quite turned off with the quality of H silks.

Shocked at flawed shawls ending up in a boutique when they should have been consigned to the sale pile.
