There was some talk about the new tags on the Spring 2018 Scarves thread also, seems everyone dislikes them. I'm too scared to take a scissor or thread puller to mine, so I'll live with them for now.I want to cut them off too because they hang and I'm one that doesn't like tags sticking out too. Glad that I'm not the only one that dislike this new tag.
This is gorgeous on you!!!
It works beautifully on you!
Thank you so much! What a SWEET DH Ladybaga! I think he made a great choice, you look lovely and not
too much grey at all
This colorway would look amazing on you!Omg. This is crazy gorgeous. I might need this one, too. Damn H for misleading us with their misleading photos! This wasn’t on my radar at all!
Good lord, save me from the Samourais!
Thank you for your sweet complement. I know what you mean about the craziness of scarf/shawl buying. I have space for one more 90. Two 140 silks and two maxi twillies. (I hang my shawls, so I can always find room for those. And I your beautiful blue 06, which also is a knockout , (and which I covet as well, dagnabbit!)your husband has a great eye! But I have been going over my collection which has expanded radically in the last couple of years, and I think there comes a time when one just has...to...sigh....slow down.
Thank you so much Croisette! Your modeling shots are always so enabling! You are so beautiful and make everything desirable.weN, thank you for the great pics! It is so gorgeous on you, congratulations!
Congratulations, dear Ladybaga! It is very elegant on you!
Thank you for your modpics, katriona! You look gorgeous, very flattering cw!
H need to stop making so many pretty things.![]()
Dear Chpkfbeliever, I completely get it...I have never thought purple to really be something I leaned toward although I like it on others. In fact I have both a nice purple cashmere blazer AND a sweater in my closet that I rarely wear, and they’ve been there for years. My SA very kindly set aside three of the five color ways they’d received, and when he said one was #10, I thought “well, that’s one I don’t have to worry about”...it was the afterthought, I only tried it on to oblige him, but putting it on, it was so immediately flattering I was really shocked. I left with #5, but ultimately had to buy #10 as well. I would never have considered it had I not tried it on.
This colorway would look amazing on you!
Thank you so much!I am very afraid of that!! Btw, I meant to tell you how amazing you look in 06 and how awesome is your DH!
DH and I were lying in the dark just before falling asleep last week and he started asking me questions such as, “What bag would you get if you could get anything you wanted?” And then when I said I’d want a Kelly, he asked “What do those cost?” Then he proceeded to ask about jewelry and those costs. I started sweating thinking he’d ask what scarf I would want because then I’d have to tell him what these babies cost! He figured that to keep me in style we’d need at least an extra $100K per year. Heh heh. He’s lucky I’m happy with just scarves.
For now.
Good luck with that!!!! (says the person who itries not to buy duplicates but somehow currently has four cws....oops)Haha, I had the same experience with 07! I walked out 05, too, and will have to figure out what to do about a second cw. I am almost hoping 10 and 01 don’t look good on me, because that would make it easier to decide!
Joannadyne: gotta say....#07 is REALLY pretty!! And you wear vivid colours so well!!! I really wish I could get away with one more, but it would raise my anxiety levels, so all I can do is vicariously enjoy others’. The one thing I can say to justify my purchases is: they are the only investments that I have bought that have consistently increased in value, providing I take care of them, and choose well.I remember after the big 2008 crash, one well off lady saying “the only investments that are still holding strong are my Hermes bags and scarves...” Maybe that is something you can tell your DH....even diamonds lose their value after you drive them off the lot...whereas a really classic Hermes scarf can double its value, if it’s a good edition...Haha, I had the same experience with 07! I walked out 05, too, and will have to figure out what to do about a second cw. I am almost hoping 10 and 01 don’t look good on me, because that would make it easier to decide!

Thank you so much!
This Hermes Bug is an expensive illness for sure! I'm not even interested in a cure, but I do need to stop and enjoy what I have. I do have my eye out for the emerald green 140 panther scarf. I think I might just melt if I see that one in person. I love your story of your DH, too. See if you can lop off a zero here or there so that it can be your little secret.
Scarves are still my all time favorites!
This is gorgeous on you!!!
