It all depends if you plan to have another kelly in a different size. If you planned to have a kelly in a larger size that is neutral, I would consider doing a 25cm in a favorite pop of color. But if this is going to be the only kelly, I personally love a great neutral like black or Etain. Togo leather is my favorite workhorse leather. Black kelly with PHW can look modern and sleek, while black with GHW is a great classic combination. Good luck deciding!

Chèvre first and then Togo. However, I think this is only by SO. Epsom might be the only choice if not an SO.
I would also take a heritage leather like tadelakt if they have it, but so far I have never seen a tadelakt in craie. I may be wrong though.
The other leathers that I love are butler leather, very soft and buttery and barenia (smooth). These would be push orders though and in natural sable or fauve colours

If I could have only one, it would be in fauve barenia with GHW.

I need some advice .. will be placing an SO soon .. it will def be Kelly 25 but I keep going back and forth between sellier and retourne
I have a back box 28 sellier and will soon have a ebene retourne 25
I think I would prob use retourne more readily bc it’s more casual but
I’m wondering if the sellier is more classic ? Would love to hear some thoughts ! TIa!
