I would like to ask those of you who have had these ponchos for some time, do you find that there's pilling? I've noticed the one Kate Moss has looks rather battered and full of pilling, also another one I found on line, I think an older colorway (lovely by the way) also looks full of pilling......

+1 !! Would also like to know as I am really thinking of buying the Alamo as well... :smile1:

Hi Sammy Royal and duna,

I've had mine for over a year now and wear them actively outside and inside. One shows a small pull (just one small one), but while there's fuzziness, I haven't had pilling.

2 years with a Rocabar, and I have been embarrassingly hard on it, including rain and snow, no pilling yet and even more miraculously the Barenia still looks great .

Thank you, Sammy Royal! Eager to see photos of yours too! I've worn mine almost constantly since it came home with me.

Hope to post pics as soon as I have competent assistance at my side... ;) - Me, too!! :D Everyday! Because I love it! But also because I want to find out if a second one is strictly necessary........ I think it is!! :graucho:

Wow!! This is soo good to know! I was a bit worried about rain and snow... - Thank you, dear papertiger!!

I'm also thrilled to hear your review of how it holds up in bad weather, papertiger. It was snowing here today, so I decided it was best to put the poncho away for the day. My fear is that if it gets damp, I'll end up smelling like my dog when we get back from a walk in the rain!

Sammy Royal, I'm looking forward to seeing your pics!!

I've worn mine every day as well, both at home and out, and have decided that a second one is a must. I have so many GMs, might as well have two of something I will wear on a near-constant basis. :smile1:

HfromT, you have convinced me I need the dark gray, you little enabler! ;)

Fortunately, my BF has warmed up to the poncho on my second go-round, I guess my little styling trick helped...:p
The only objection in my house was my little pup, who went running, head down and tail between his legs, when he saw me! Miraculously, he has succumbed to the poncho as well, as it has proven to be a good perch for a lap dog.
