LOL, my eyes are older than yours, so it might be me who see's it more blue! It's grey here too (the weather), maybe tomorrow if it's a bit sunnier I can try and take pics aswell. To me the one that looks closer of your pics is the first one.....

Here's to aging eyes, duna! Picture #4 was taken right by the window, so it might be the most accurate. The others were taken indoors with very ambient light. I love the color....so neutral and easy for me to wear with my existing wardrobe. Can't wait to see your photos!

I love the colour too, it goes perfectly with my wardrobe too!

I promise to try to take better photos of me in the only full-length mirror we have, once my daughter wakes up (mirror is in her room!). But for now, I tried to capture the color of this poncho in the best available light (it's dark and rainy here this morning). Here you go, Rocabar cw #04 (anthracite)....

And one more....

Fantastic neutral, HfromT and duna!! Thanks so much for posting these pics. I love that it is very understated and will match everything in pretty much anyone's closet. ;) A poncho/wrap that I could wear with chic and classic ease and comfort for many, many years to come. Congrats on this beauty and enjoy! :smile1:

Thank you, MarvelGirl...that's exactly the way I view this piece. I think I'll enjoy it for many years to come.

Divine! Cool and sophisticated, reminds me of the runway ponchos from last fall.
You are really tempting me, dear!

^^^I agree, Monceau! And with your height, you can certainly carry this look, effortlessly. I'm eager to take mine for a spin, but it's been raining here today. Wet wool is not a favorite scent of mine.

I love it!!!

It may be my screen but I am still a bit confused about which is what grey :confused1: :smash:

I completely understand the confusion, papertiger! I took these photos using my iphone 5s in very poor lighting. But in my opinion, the bulk of the poncho is comprised of "anthracite", along with dark navy stripes, and a stripe that is a mix of navy/anthracite/burnt orange. I'm probably just making matters worse with my very unofficial assessment of the colors!

Take no notice of me it is Ref. H700100E 04, I just had to find Gixxer's pic too, apologies

Not at all, honestly, thank you for taking the trouble for taking the photos. This colour is my favourite if I want to get another (the red Alamo calls to me but it would be too close to my red). Having said that, I do actually have a double-faced grey 100% cashmere poncho which is totally divine, so it's not like I'm short of capes/ponchos/blanket-wraps :D

You're most welcome! Thanks again for your description and photos since I also just purchased cw 4 from H.com! We will be twins! I hope I love it as much as I think I will. If yes, I will also get the yellow cw when it becomes available. So Excited!!:D

Finally got time to take mod pics of my Rocabar and Alamo ponchos together under natural light.
Please ignore the wrinkles on my Rocabar as I just took it out from the bottom of my winter closet. :P
