2021 a Z stamp. Interesting!
To my eye ( and I am no expert) this looks much more like CDC than Mysore- the grains are larger and flatter, with a more prominent spine.
There were a number of Vert Cypress B30 in CDC offered in 2021. I know of at least one that was at my location ( it was absolutely gorgeous) as I saw it.
here's another just a few pages back.
Regardless, you have a beautiful bag- use it and enjoy

Once in a while I inspect my bags, air them out, ensure they are stored well, polish the hardware if needed. Fuchsia Chevre Kelly from back when the dustbags were changed from plain Beige to Orange, before the current Herringbone.

...and in exquisite condition after all these years, thanks to the loving care of a loving person. Just beautiful.

Hi Ladies, I got offer a constance elan in chevre chamkila in Noir , Is this leather prone to scratches? Thank you
Hi! I’ve had my Chevre Chamkila Constance for almost a year now. It’s a hard wearing leather that feels great to touch/use but yes, it does scratch. I have a few hard to notice scratches on the front. On the back you can tell it’s scratched from turning side to side in the light. The sheen of the leather shows this. I think with time it will all blend in over the next few years.

Hello everyone, could you please advise if chevre mysore leather is prone to have the top layer of leather coming off (small scale)?
I bought a mini Constance in excellent condition from a well known reseller and noticed 2 very small white dots on the bag when I received it. Then I was just trying it on for a few minutes indoor and noticed a small piece of leather came off and it looked exactly like the 2 white dots. I was being very careful when trying it. My guess is that it touched my watch band when I tried it cross body.
Is this common for this leather and is it just equivalent to scratches on other leathers? Or Will it get worse and noticeable with normal wear?
Thank you so much for your advices!!!

Hi! I have the “big sister” to this Constance. I’ve only had this happen once since owning for about a year. I have a lot of shoe care polish, leather care etc at home. Just use a small dab of polish and gently rub in and wipe off. It will disappear.

Thank you for your reply. May I ask if you do not have any regrets getting Chamkila Constance?

No regrets! I originally wanted a box leather Constance and I will probably still end up buying one at some point in a different color. I’m not a big shopper and take time seriously considering anything I add in my closet. I love the hand feel of the leather. And it’s done fairly well in light rain (wipe off as quick as possible). I had some big rain drops that made blisters. But they dried out overnight and disappeared. Handbags are meant to be used and loved especially when you only have a few.

I have bags in Chevre Mysore, I had a bag in Chevre de Coromandel and Chevre Chamkila - Chevre de Coromandel was near indestructible and Chevre Mysore wears decently - Chevre Chamkila was not for me at all because by comparison it is way too sensitive for me.
I enjoy my C18 Chamkila but for me it’s not a carefree bag. Scratches and creases show more due it’s sheen. Still love it to bits though!
