Stunning bag!!
I recently got a mysore bag and noticed that it is easy to get scuffing (top layer of leather came off leaving a little white dot. I attached some pics right before your posting.) Did you notice this on your bag? Thank you!
You know, I wanted to comment on that post, but I'm trying not to participate so much here.

I do *not* think this is common with chèvre. I have six Hermès bags in chèvre, and none of them have scuffs like that with color loss. The only one with what I would call scratching is one Kelly (the one pictured above) which I have worn often with jeans - it has one small scratch on the back panel where it rubbed against rivets (I think). But none of the bags have color loss anywhere, and, while I am careful with them, I don't baby them insanely.

My mum passed down this chevre Kelly to me. It’s more than 10 years old so pardon the scratches. No colour loss or white spots. Maybe you can raise it to your SA?

IMG_6492.jpegHeyyyyy chevre experts! This is not a question pertaining to authenticity but rather curiosity. I am not in the market for anything Hermes. I haven’t been for the past 3 years and don’t plan on changing that but I do still love talking about them with my sister. So we came across this photo while browsing photos of Hermes leathers. Anyway, for chevre de coromandel bags, does the spine or the vein always have to be centered or is a non-centered spine/vein a normal occurrence? My sister just said if she had the bag on the photo, it would drive her insane LMAO

Will greatly appreciate your opinions on this matter. Thanks!

Just seeing this thread - maybe it’s dormant by now? But if not, it compelled me to pull out my 2 pretty CdC babies. B35 GHW & K35 PHW, both in Noir. They are the lightest, most luminous bags - & incredibly low-maintenance compared to H bags in most other skins. Obsessed.

Your bags are gorgeous!

Does anyone know about the maintenance of chevre chamkila? I’m
keen to get a bag in that leather. Thanks in advance!

2021 a Z stamp. Interesting!
It's probably Mysore...it's so exciting that chèvre Birkins are showing up outside SO (this may have been a store SO order, but VC chèvre has not been an SO option recently)....either way it's gorgeous!!
I'm no expert so I can't tell the difference between the spine of mysore/cdc.... I am just super excited if they have mysore VC in 2021! Maybe they'll have more?!
Same here!! If it shows up for order I don't know what to do....I have VC K25 in Togo...I have Birkins in dark chèvre (noir and bleu encre)...but this is my favorite leather in one of my top 5 favorite colors!
