I agree with @WhiteBus and @textilegirl. I looked at this one not too long ago, but thought it was too similar to the HAC a Dos I just bought.….plus I’m a phw gal. But, I could see myself using it, although I carry very little so weight isn’t a usually an issue for me (unless it’s Very heavy empty). Maybe you should load it up with what you‘d carry and see how it feels to you….

Agree with @diane278 . @girlhasbags , I love this bag. But, I’m not a ghw person. Ultimately, it boils down to how the bag makes you feel

I took my pictures here they are. I kind of stopped the first compartment and left the back one a little empty. It has a ton of pockets so I think I could balance the way. I just would need to be careful. It also goes cross body. What are you guys is that with the new picture? I love this forum. It’s always nice to be able to reach out and get opinions. Suggestions and experiences. Love you guys. Thanks so much.

Hi there,
Beautiful bag!! And I love bareina, I have bought bags just for the leather and so far not regretted it...
this reminds me of the halzan, which I do not have but I really like and it is also in bareina.
I would compare the use like a evelyn but the look a little more sporty or academic... to me it is not used like a kelly or birkin... which can be a very good thing... I do not use the evelyn much (but I love the bareina) because it is long and I do not find my things... for me I like the plume.. it fits a lot and it opens up and I can find things... (I am not organized)...
I am not sure if your question was answered before but this is what came to my mind when I read your thoughts ‍♀️

Thank you for responding I love the different perspectives I get from this forum. I hadnt thought about the Evelyne as a comparision. I have 3 of them and one is in Barenia. I love them and find them practical for use. I must admit I probably would not have purchased it had it not been in smooth Barenia but I wanted a bag in that leather that I could use all the time. I have both B and K and honestly dont use them that much. I absolutely adore smooth Barenia and am a sucker anytime I can get my hands on a piece. lol Yes, I am going to keep her as I think I will be sorry if I don't. I am sure that is no surprise...lol.

I took her out for a couple spins and I and worked out well. As @WhiteBus said I just have to be careful with how I fill it. I loved all the compartments that it has with actually help keep it organized and balanced. She is stunning in person. After thinking about it I also see quite a few styling options.

Do you realise just what it is you are asking?
How do you image it could be possible to separate one thread to clean it without damaging the leather. If it worries you too much, it's gotto bea replacement job.
Perhaps you could find an artisan who would restitch it for you.
I don’t mean to just clean one thread, I meant to clean the entire strap. But thanks anyway.

I’m sorry if this has been asked before. I have a barenia in gold watch strap. The contrast white stitching got darken over time, how do I clean it? TIA
Hello dear, I wonder if some saddle soap might help? But before you attempt anything, maybe ask @docride for advice:
Good luck! x

because there is no PM mechanism to answer the criticism and action

snarky - possibly
presumptuous - no, grammatically correct
it, the pronoun refers to the previous appropriate noun, 'white stitching'

What an amazing thread full of gorgeous bags!!!

How would I know if the Barenia is for me? I don’t baby my bags (but definitely my scarves!!!) but none of them show real scratches or stains as they are mostly black or in a more durable leather. I’m worried that I would be too careful with my bag, then drop some oil or cheese on it (cue sleepless nights) or that the patina may age me (I’m at the age where how I dress can age me 10+ years). I am also still a little hesitant about the bag ageing badly or unevenly (eg the handles patina faster, or the bag ages in patches). In addition, would the white contrast stitching get dull or dirty over time? Your bags seem to hold up very well in this regard! I also don’t wear a lot of brown (including shoes and belts) so I have no idea how I would style it!

Bonus question: how do you store your bags if you won’t be using it for a long time?
