For cleaning, believe it or not, the BH craftsperson years ago used water only to clean

I get little scuffs all the time, rub them down with a damp finger. Generally that works. Scratches no, scuffs yes.

In general I don't worry about this bag other than not clumsily crashing into anything. My barenia suffered a delicious curry accident after its first week in use. The oily stain was sucked out by a magical craftsman. The spa effort accelerated the patina.... and I can't wait for my bag to move onto the lovely reddish glow of older barenia like my evelyn

I was just thinking about this story when asking QF on another thread what stains Barenia. I thought I remembered that someone had spilled oily curry on their Barenia Birkin. What a legendary story! (And thank goodness, a happy ending!)

Thanks for the advice and Omg your bags both sound and look too YUMMY!! that buttery sheen:love:! They aged beautifully, so magical! Should I order a curry now? :nuts:

And they look so even and scratch-free. May I ask if u do anything with scratches or stains? Or just collect enough and send to Spa?

Totally cool! Now you don't have to experience "the firsts" many of us have! Wear it and enjoy it!!!!! Congrats!
