One more slightly off topic question (well maybe not too much off topic) - since it is a small store, can the WS store transfer items in from other stores, eg, shawls, RTW, shoes? Or is only charge/send? What about SLG or bags?

Hi! My sister in law and her NY SA have a great relationship. She's gotten her Kelly and Constance recently in the specs she wanted. She knows my HG is a malachite and so she asked her SA about getting a bag in that color. Her SA said that malachite is impossible to get, but she can get blue paon. She brushed off that color completely and said pick another color. The SA made it sound like the color is not in season. I don't believe that to be true unless I missed something. I've seen other tpfers reveal their malachite bags on this forum and get them at Paris FSH too. Does anyone have any info? Is it a rare color reserved to special clients or super hard to get? Is it not a color the NY store would order for their customers? I'm a little heartbroken when I got the news because we have a nice relationship with this SA where I almost felt like it was going to happen. I don't think she would lie either. Should I keep asking for it or drop it and move on?
Malachite bags and SLGs are still being made and sold (at least in France). I believe there have been recent US reveals with malachite bags as well. It may just be that the SM at that particular NY store didn't order whichever bag you want in malachite (or any malachite bags at all). Just a guess...
As long as the color is still in production, I have a chance haha. I won't be back to Paris till next March so going to keep trying in NY.
Nice! How long ago did you get your malachite B? My second choice is gold and she said no problem. I know I'm lucky to have the door open to offers and will be able to get my second choice. No complaints there. I guess I was more surprised by how she made it seem like I can't get that color B or K in NY.
Malachite is definitely available in the USA with the current stamp, A. I am assuming the SA did not realize it was back in production. Best of luck!
