I am planning to make stops at boutiques in New York, Boston and D.C. In the next few weeks and was curious to know what stock is like in august for bracelets (CDC and Kelly dog in exotics and enamels). And if I'm lucky also b and k. I'm specifically interested in pinks grays and blues. Thanks!

yes ! Madison has great inventory. Through the past 6 years I have gotten 3 Birkins as a walk in. No other purchases required (although I did buy a few scarves AFTER the bags were offered.)
I'm travelling to nyc in November. So excited!!! Am hoping to buy scarves and a rodeo charm.
Just out of curiosity; are shops open or closed over thanksgiving? I arrive Thursday 23rd November and stay until Wednesday 29th. (Please pardon my ignorance). Thanks!
Madison will be open Monday thru Wednesday of your trip for sure. Pretty certain it'll be closed on the Thursday, and might be open on the Friday and Saturday. Store is always closed on Sunday.
I would check the schedule with the store. They might be open on Sundays between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Are you only looking for B/K, I built an amazing relationship with the store SAs by simply asking about different leather and buying other stuff not only bags. They want people who are not only interested in buying a birkin but in the brand itself. Honestly it's my favorite store, even though it's more expensive than my home store, but you'll always find something.
I'd recommend that you go again and try your luck.
