I totally agree, although I am not sure they will make as much money if there are less deletes there. But I guess most outlet customers don't know the difference between mff and fp delete bags.

Did you get anything from the latest rounds of deletes this weekend cfc? I know you said you were going to hit a few outlets and that you had stuff on hold.

What did you find? I want to live vicariously through you lol. :D

I think outlets do fine with MFF that is all I see people buying.
Yes. I got a rouge madison wallet. Had pintuck phoebe on hold but she didnt come home with me. Hoping to see FOS tomorrow.

I know they are going to stay open. I mean if the company achieve what they want to do with full price (driving increased sales & brand image in that channel ). If they get to the point when Full price held the majority of the sales (before 2010 I believe) will they close some of the outlet stores

FOS should be good tomorrow. I am ready for some new styles though so I am glad I bought the grommet soft borough. I will get a LOT of wear out of her before she goes on inevitable 25% sale at department stores late fall. :cool:

I agree, everyone buys mff at the outlets and they love it and do not know there are better options for them. :cool:

They still will not close outlets. Even if they get back where they wanna be. Outlets still will do better than FP.

Of course they will! I normally go home with a few Coach bags.. this trip, just one camel/pink ruby Preston from Dillards from me so far... FP is not an option for me so I love the outlets...Nothing there - no problem, I try another brand ;)

Nah - even if what they are trying to do works, Outlets will still be their MONEY MAKER!!! They are closing some MEN's !

From someone who has been on the forum for over 5 years, I have to say I have noticed the reveals of the fall bags are very few and far between. In the past, we saw many, many reveals long before the floorsets were in stores. This could be indicative of people just not wanting to spend full price without PCE. Anyone else notice this? Thoughts?

I have bought two fall bags and may buy a third. I bought the grommet borough and the rhyder 33 gunmetal (which should arrive this week). I don't spend time doing reveal threads anymore, because someone usually has posted the bag before I get around to taking pics of mine.

I usually post a pic or two in a clubhouse thread though.

I am almost done with my fp buying though. I wanted the studded edie, but at $895 I can't justify it. I do not think Coach will sell out at that price and I am willing to take a risk and wait to see if I can get a discount on it somewhere.

I did not mind paying $650 for the rhyder 33 gunmetal. I am a balenciaga fan and have been for years, I have a large balenciaga collection and the rhyder 33 has the same vibe as my bbags but is a different shape, and a cool color. I wanted to get something that was from Vever's first Coach collection and was unmistakably his design, so that is why I bought the Rhyder.

As for the grommet borough, I did not have a borough yet, that was my first (and most likely only) one. I feel I did overpay for it at full price, but I do not think that bag will make it to the outlets any time soon (although eventually it will make it to some flagship outlets I am sure). I also have not gotten the last several pce so for the $150-175 off of the price I would have gotten had coach had a pce that a: I was included in, and b: the grommet borough was included in, I did not feel all the hassle was worth the wait.

I think the lack of pictures, and information on the bags is also hurting advance sales. For me, I did not consider the rhyder 33 until I saw a reveal here, although there were pics out there of teenage models holding the bags under their arms, like garbage bags. Somehow this did not inspire me however and I waited for a real reveal. :p:D

Anyway those are my thoughts. Good question/post! :smile1:

I do think that the Vevers collection has not been marketed well. I agree with the teenage models etc. I have bought a couple of fall bags and there are a couple I have my eye on, but overall, I am underwhelmed.

Most of the bags are variations of the Rhyder. It will be interesting to see the new bags in person. Perhaps I will feel differently. And they are overpriced in many cases. Probably won't stop me from getting a couple, but when I compare Coach bags at a higher price point to other bags at that price point, I think they fall short.

I have never been a huge MK fan, but I just looked at their fall collection and WOW! They hit a homerun. I look at the competition in the $1K range and I would go for Aspinal any day over Coach.

I have said this before in other threads, but the Vevers collection is really, really nice, but not amazing. Maybe if the marketing were different I would have a different perspective. Hard to say.
