Hi, I bought a watch from nordstorm rack about a year ago. I have never used it or took it out of my jewelery box. I took it out yesterday to get sized , but it slipped out of my hand to the make up counter instead and it broke. It was ceramic watch . What can I do? Can they fix it? or should I go to the company ( emperio armani ) and ask them help me out. :(

I know you asked this months ago, but you can bring it to Nordstrom and they'll get it repaired for you. I had them replace the band on my MK watch. :]

Hi I am new to the forum :) I was hoping I could get some advice to my situation. I bought a Rebecca Minkoff MAC white purse on Hautelook (Nordstrom Company) and am still in 30 days limit to return.

I used it 1 evening (about 6 hours time) and was very careful with it. I looked at it today and to my dismay saw a small pen mark had somehow gotten on the bottom... also the white color on the corners along the sides and bottom were already rubbing and wearing off! If it wasn't for the pen mark I would immediately return it because there is no way after 1 use it should be showing signs of wear. Do you think I could try to return or exchange it (can be returned to Nordstrom Rack)? Or should I contact the manufacturer of the purse? I'm just not happy how quick the color is wearing off the leather because they are not cheap purses. Thanks!

I definitely agree that the corners should not rub off that quickly with only one wear, but since you used it, and damaged it in a way that would not be covered by a return, I would say you should not return it. It isn't the manufacturer's fault that there is a pen mark on it, and I don't think the company will (or should be forced to) take a return for damage that was done by the customer. I also would say that perhaps you weren't quite as careful with the bag as you thought you were, since you ended up with rubbed corners and a pen mark on the bag with one use. And I'm not saying you're careless...white leather is super hard to keep clean and shows wear very easily. I don't think I would keep a white bag clean for more than a few minutes! :)

Maybe you could stop over in the RM forum and see if they have any tips on cleaning the pen mark?

hello ladies,

i am an international customer and i ordered from nordstrom but received an item that has lots of flaws on it. it don't look brand new. it either is a return piece or a bad piece of display item.

nordstrom has agreed to do a refund. how long does it take for the refund to show?

I´m ordered a Marc by marc jacobs bag from Nordstrom during family and friends sale(or maybe it was pricematched). Anyway I put my order and get a ordernr and paid by Visa. Unfortunately my order get cancelled so it was not possible for me to get the bag. The day after the bag was back again on the Nordtstroms website with the discountprice again but as backordered item in may. As my bank was holding my money I wouldn´t place a new order until i get my money back (it tooked 5 days). Okej Now the bag is on nordstroms website as a backordered item, but with the "normal high price". When i spoked with nordstrom on livechat, the assistanst told me that it was possible for me to put a norder on the backordered bag, but I have to pay fullprice with Visa. And because I allready get an ordernr on the salesevent I still will be pricematched. So when the bag is coming back in Nordstrom and the bag will be shiped, they will return my money back on account ( amount between full price and the discount). My question is as i order as a international customer. will it be hard to me to get the discount back as promised, if I have to wait for long time. Or is it a small risk that I don´t get my money back? Should i take the risk or shall I wait to next sale, as the anniversary sale? Please give me a advice. i dont want to pay fullprice since they promised med the discount.

I order thru Nordstrom all the time and never get charged until my order is shipped. I've even ordered sale backordered items before too. I'm surprised you are getting charged now.

In the past I've called for price adjustments on things I've paid a higher price on and have never had a problem. Their customer service has always been good and easy for me. I don't know if it's different for international orders though (I live in the states).

Emnsee: I´m not sure what the lady i spoked with exaktly meant, But I´m quit sure that she meant that I have to accept the full amount by Visa (the bank will holding the money). The bank is only allowed to hold the money for 5 days. but My bank told me that if i accept that payment once i will allowe nordstrom in future to take the money(when the bag will be shiped). I assume that Norstrom meant that i accept full amount now but when the bag will be shiped they will charged and then do a price reduction. But I´m little bit worried that If i accept the "full amount now" maybe they don´t do the adjustment? Maybe I don´t have to be worried but why can´t they do the price adjustment right now if I place my order now? Does anybody know?

Emnsee: But when you placed orders on backordered items. Did you have to give them your card nr immediately then and did you have to accept an amount directly? It seems to be a little bit messy to me. I´m so confused right now.

Hello. Sorry to be posting here. I know this thread is about returns.

I was wondering what's the most an item is discounted before they move it to the rack and remove it online?

I've seen a fine jewelry piece online for 60% off and was wondering if it'll get marked down more. Thanks
