Has Nordstrom changed their PM policy recently? I've tried to PM via LiveChat on a pair of denim (other site sold out of my size) twice and both people told me it has to be the same size, color, and style. anyone else have the same experience?

it's always been that way for me. has to be same style, size, color, and has to be in stock on the other site.

their policy isn't like it used to be. but, depending on the CSR you get on live chat, you may get lucky.

I think people have abused their policy so much in recent years, that Nordstrom is tightening up!

Yeah it makes sense for Nordstrom to be stricter, just a tad disappointed!

Just curious the best way to get Nordstrom to price match...is calling them or live chatting better? If you live chat, how do you actually order the item? Do you give your cc info over the live chat and the SA places the order?

I prefer live chat. They rarely say no to me and I don't think they even check. They will ask you for the item number and you give them your credit card info over the chat. They place the order.

Thanks! I was successful in getting my price match! You're right, I don't think they checked. She just asked for the retailer and price but I didn't even have to give a link.

Store purchase price matches have to be done over the phone with the department you purchased in. Sometimes the 800 number will put the call through for you if you prefer that way.

I'm upset that i live-chatted with someone about a price match from another website for something and everything went well and i was going to get credited back, but I never saw the credit back to my account

No, unfortunately I didn't. They've usually been good about things in the past so i wasn't worried about it. I guess I will always keep a record from now on. Lesson learned..
