Regarding the price-matching policy--it's depending on the SA. Some SAs requried the exact same model/color and have to be in stock in order to have the price-matched. Some SAs will call the store to check.

Yeah I agree. It really depends on the SAs. Recently there was a 30% off Uggs in colors that I wanted but were already out of stock. I called for a price match and they just had to verify the promo, didn't require the exact same color.

I bought 2 Burberry watches & I asked the Nordstrom SA if I could have 10% off. Because Bloomies had that promo & the Nordstrom SA price matched it.

hm. i price matched some very popular boots at a very good price and then a few hours later i get an email from nordies saying my order was cancelled as the boots are out of stock...yeah right.

My SA price matched some Stuart Weitzman boots for me yesterday. I was in Neimans yesterday and Neimans didn't have my size left in the entire company so I called Nordstrom and they weren't even on sale so of course they had my size and he said of course he would match it. I love Nordstrom!

It definitely depends on the SA, I only shop with one Nordstrom SA. I used a $300 off Chanel handbag offer from NM to get it at Nordies, since they had it in stock.

I recently called Nordstroms online to ask if they would price match with zappos. The would match the price but would not do the free shipping.

Nordstrom honored a price adjustment on an Ella Moss top that was drastically reduced on another website. Also, the website only had a small, and a needed a medium, which Nordstrom had in stock.

saks just sent out a 10% off code for their site with a few exclusions, will Nordstrom match this even on items that Saks.com doesn't carry?

I really want a pair of Frye boots, but saks.com doesn't have them.

In my experience, nord will only match items that both sites carry.

^^ Correct, Nordstrom will match items that are in stock, and in the size and color that you want.

my nordstrom has pretty much stopped matching. i asked for a match on juicy charms and they said they don't do it anymore. so i buy them from juicy now, because with the friends and family and all, it's a better deal.
