Yep Roosevelt Field Mall :) They are making Roose so nice now. Gonna have Neimans, Nordstrom, Bloomies all together now :O

I know that's going to be so nice... I live in staten island I go to jersey malls, short hills and garden state plaza all have nice Nordstrom and neiman... I like nordstom customer service better but neiman has a much bigger selection of luxury brands especially like chanel. Even some nordstroms I go to didn't have Gucci bags because they weren't considered like a big Nordstrom I guess... But you can't always order from other nordstroms whatever you want, but shopping in person it will depend what brands they care

I absolutely will not shop at NM...The cs is beyond awful...I am a Nordie's customer first for anything I purchase...Being respected when I spend my money is a plus for me...and NM does not present that one in customer service...JMO...

I'm a Nordies girl. While I like high end bags for clothing I'm more mid to lower end. I dress casual and tend to ruin (spill on) my clothes pretty quickly so I can't justify $100+ on something that I'll be lucky to last a season with me. Also I'm plus size and I've had very good luck finding clothing I like and is flattering on me (extra hard for plus size to find, apparently fat people are only supposed dress in huge potato sacks or like they are in thier 80's). Also free altercations with the Nordies card is a extra bonus if I find pants/jeans I like but are too long I don't hesitate to get them because I won't have to shell out more money on them.

I like bloomies next, I feel like they are a lot like Nordies selection wise.

I like NM for handbags and random household items. I do however feel like the SA's are more high pressure there which is a huge turn off for me. I also feel out of place there because I'm pretty casual.

Barneys is a dud for me. The SA's follow you like a hawk and then when you want help they loose intrest right away if it's not something they have on hand. And thier website stinks. I've bought items that they ran out of never got any notice about it being canceled even though they claimed I was emailed. The worst part was I called maybe week and a half to two weeks after my order because I never received any updates, the item I tried to purchase was still up for sale on the website. Major fail and totally unacceptable in this day and age.

I only go to Saks to look at handbags. The only location near me doesn't carry plus size clothing it's only available online. I asked a SA where the section was and was given a look of horror and told they stopped carrying plus size in store a long time ago it's only available online. So I will never spend a cent there based on that alone.

Nordy's and Barneys for me. NM is sort of middle of the road and never have my size in shoes. Barneys always has size 42 for some reason. Free ship, free returns although I don't think I've ever returned anything to Barneys 'cause I've usually tried a size down at NM and know the next size up will work! Poor NM. I like Barneys' curated items, particularly clothing, for unique pieces. I feel like NM picks everybody mainstream, isn't too daring.

Nordy's is great for quick items to pick up at lower prices, i.e. need a quick pair of shoes/shorts in some color to match an outfit (next week) and don't want to pay $400 for an investment piece today. Great range of items and fabulous return policy; JCrew/Gap-style clothing at good price points. And online customer service is the best. I don't go in any stores hardly anymore.

BG is the same as NM, online anyway, with same items and sizes usually available. Saks is sort of eh. Poor returns policy (have to pay for shipping) so I rarely bother. Except with free return promotions I might try something.

Addendum: another reason I like/love Nordstrom: they give me a HEADS UP when promotions, sales, and bonus points are!!! BG announced a gift card event today. I used to and still do hate it when I buy something from a store and 2 days later there is a gift card or bonus point event. So random!!!!
