WOW and Thank you to all regarding the Dyson vacuum. Such great reviews, recommendations and tips. This forum is a great place to get honest reviews and I appreciate it. I feel so well informed and prepared to consider this purchase. The Dyson is not cheap but when the quality is there I don't mind paying for it. Hoping the model they offer will be right for my needs. So glad so many of you are happy with yours.
I purchased an InstaPot with an air fryer a few years back thanks to this forum. Best reviews/intel here for sure!

I have to be honest, as fun as this sale is, shopping at Nordstrom has become exhausting. The orders take a long time to ship and to go through the mail. And returns have been very difficult, am I the only one? In the past few years I've had to follow up on a lot of returns that have been received by nordstrom, both confirmed though tracking and on the order page on their site. I just returned a bra ($50) and they received it earlier this month - the order page stated "Received by Nordstrom" they researched it and claimed basically they can't locate it now and after some discussion they are refunding me but there's a message stating I should insure my packages. What insurance covers loss in their warehouse? This has happened a few times one time I had the shipping weight confirmed for a pair of shoes and they still claimed they couldn't find the return in their warehouse.

I'm just nervous about shopping here anymore if this keeps happening. I just don't have these issues with Saks, Neimans and other stores. Anyone else seeing these issues?
Now that you mention it I had an incident earlier this year. A set of Le Creuset mugs that I returned by mail were not showing up for like a month. I finally called and Nordstrom credited my account immediately. I don't go in the store to shop so I rely on mail to return. I do like their printerless labels though to ship though post office. Don't know what Nordstrom means about insurance? don't their labels cover what you're returning? I would think that's on them.

I'm pregnant during this sale so the Barefoot PJs and diamonds are looking pretty good  also hoping for a pair of mid-calf western boots...the hunt has been on for awhile. Thank you for all the posting, hope we have some fun this year!
I'm right there with you, I can't imagine buying fall/ warm clothes or anything other than comfy stuff right now. Congratulations!

That's what I asked, what insurance would cover them losing the packages they acknowledge they receive. I went on twitter and to the BBB and others are describing the exact same experiences. Delivered, acknowledged in their system but then refusing a refund. Another poster stated they go to the store but may don't have one near them, I do but with a toddler it's harder to go now. Still doesn't excuse their pattern of losing returns in their warehouse.

I hardly buy from anywhere that I can’t return in person. Saks closed several years ago. I will buy something from Saks once in a blue moon. Last time it was a YSL bag that I had to send back. It gave me heart palpitations dropping off the package at FedEx.
Fedex is normally great, hardly ever an issue. USPS is very iffy. I'm starting to love Saks, Neiman's and Shopop more for the coupons. Shopbop has more items I like, seems to have the fun stuff nordstrom used to have.

I must say Saks has some great sales. I'm literally slapping my own hand to get away from the computer to stop shopping. Does Shopbop use Amazon drop off for returns? I noticed recently you can drop off Zappos stuff at Amazon return locations, figured Shopbop might be the same.

Shopbop does use amazon, you have to order through the amazon link at checkout in order to use their return process, otherwise they send a return label with their package and immediately start tracking it for you. Their rewards program is pretty great too, they send gifts when you hit levels even just at the 1k level.

It looks like if you link your Amazon account to Shopbop before July 5 you get member access to a prime day sale on Shopbop

Good to know, I need to start shopping there again.
