re: Rack
I've been looking for NAS items at Rack. I'm not seeing any fall/winter items at Rack near me.
What I am seeing are the spring/summer items from NAS that were leftover.

I am on the hunt for this dress from NAS - Chelsea28 Bell Sleeve Lace dress. Regular $99, Nas price $59. For Nas this came in dark blue, black I think.

Here is the top version, at the NAS price $47

Here it is at Rack $30

The NAS colors on this were the dark fall colors. What is on sale is the Spring version, and they only have the top, not the dress. People that think you can find every NAS item at Rack in Sept are totally wrong imho.

OK I took the plunge. I ordered this in Large, even though you and the reviews say this runs large- I think I want it to be free flowing.

Ladies- I had this Autumn Cashmere dress in my cart for 2 days and did not buy. Then yesterday I got this email- $10 Note showed up. I think Nordstrom does this when you have stuff in your cart, as an incentive to buy.

I went to Nordstrom Rack today and decided to look at the racks labeled from the Nordstrom store. I found a few pairs of Zella from the sale - the one from with the red back bottoms, the ones with the shiny lines on the thighs, and the black and grey version of the sun salutation style (I think most were $29.97). I tried to look for other items I had purchased that are sold out on Nordstrom online but did not find anything else.

I found a pair of AGL combat boots for $179 at NR. They were part of the sale, but now back to full price. I had the store check for other sizes, but they said the pair I found were the only pair in the system.

There will probably be more items after the summer sale is done.

They just put a ton of sandals and summer stuff (no NAS that I can see) on sale for 60% off. Definitely the leftovers, but still some good stuff.

Rack discounts usually range around 60-70% off, sometimes as much as 85% so regular store pricing at 60% off is close, esp with the free shipping.

So sick of their policies changing regularly now. Before it was 14 day price adjustment period from date you placed order and didn't matter if in stock or not. Now it has to be in stock. Before that it was change price any time if item still in stock. Pretty soon they won't have a price adjustment period.

Yes I was very disappointed when they would not price adjust my sale items than that they lowered the day after and they sold out. Customer service told me they had to be in stock. I argued, well, if I return them at the register then at that moment that they would be in stock. Can I re-buy them then with the sale price? And she said she didn't know that I had to go in the store to try it and most likely they wouldn't. But on the phone she couldn't and wouldn't price adjust because "it's not in stock". [emoji82]

It has been at least 6 months that I know of that in order to get a price adjustment on anything bought online at Nordstrom it had to be the exact item (brand, style, color, size, etc.) and it had to be currently in stock. It also applies for getting items adjusted to prices lower at other stores Nordstrom recognizes as a peer (there is a list floating around this forum of such stores- Bloomingdale's, Macy's, etc.). The item must be exactly the same and available for purchase at the time of adjustment request. This is not a new policy- and it has been discussed before.

Nordstrom is not the only better online store cracking down with adjustments and returns.

They all protect themselves from these policies by selling so many "exclusives".

I tried to get a price adjustment today on the Tory Burch Marsden booties that I bought during the semi annual sale because they're $90 less now. No dice. They said they only made adjustments within 14 days. I was going to buy a new pair and just return the old ones (which I haven't even worn yet) but they sold out of my size in the color I wanted.

I've noticed several items on the Nordstrom web site that I've had my eye on for a while are now deeply discounted compared to their prices during their sale. And one item I bought during the sale is now 40 percent cheaper. So....what was that sale about?

It is actually newer with the nuances I mentioned. I used to work there until a year ago.
