My problem with aquabase wasn't because of ridges, my nails were buffed and clean. As for 51 while it was more difficult to get off then regular polish it wasn't that, i still had polish on my nails that gave me smurf fingers, i tried repeatedly to take of the polish but no go which is what made me realized they were stained.

hm... this is :confused1:weird... I have never encounter problem with my aqua base. Let me try to apply aqua base maybe with 61 again this weekend if I can get up early :p. I will try to see is there any specific I forgot. ( I hate putting on 61 cuz I can't take my eyes off my nails especially while I am driving!!) :D

Thanks irishlass that nail wheel is what made me order 59 but the color i got looks like 58 though the sticker says 59. Ill probably end up layering it to try and get the berry color i wanted, ill have to try it over Opi's The One That Got Away, should be interesting. Btw do you live in Ireland? I lived in Dublin for a few years a while back.

Only in my dreams. I live in a place about as opposite from Ireland as you can get.

I didn't notice, i've only recently started using Sache Vite and it makes taking off polish a bit harder so after getting through the top coat layer the rest was easy, and i know TC dulls holos but the choice was a little less bright over staying power. The polish choices i can get where i live is extremely limited so up until ten months ago i basicly only had Revlon and Orly in my collection until i started looking online for some old favorites and started reading the blogs and the rest is history. Now if Nfu Oh could only do multicromatic polish as well as it does it holos, flakies and jellies i wouldn't see the point almost in buying any other brand, and i know the flakies change color but thats not quite the same. Or maybe ask them to do mood polishes like Toma used to, that had a jelly like consitancy...sigh, what can i say i like 'gadety nail polish' ie polish that does stuff like change color, glow ect...

I'm really surprised people seem to be having issue getting the Aqua base off. It is a little thicker but with a little extra pressure I've never had a problem getting it off? shrugs:

Well onto my layering experiment to get that berry color flackie that i wanted, i'm still totally bummed that they didn't send me the right shade even if the bottle says 59 it's not it's 58. I tried it over Opi's The One That Got Away and it was still too cimson so i tried it over Revlon's Icy Violet with is a sort of magenta shade and that's sort of gave me the shade i wanted but like i said still bummed i wanted the whole jelly feel which i wont get with it layered unless its on another jelly.

I always have trouble getting it off.. and even after I think its all off.. I step into a bright room.. and boom.. there is still a bunch still on.

I'm so upset at Nfu-Oh for changing the formula on the holos without disclosing it! I just opened my #61 from my last order a month or so ago and it's a bumpy, gloppy MESS.

WT absolute F?

I had the same thing. I bought two bottles of 61 and they were disgusting. Lumpy, gooey, and NOT HOLO. I emailed fabulousstreet and (politely) demanded to return them. Although I had to mail them back at my expense, it was only like 3 bucks, and now I have a $25 store credit. I'm thinking of trying a jelly syrup this time.
