Ok I dont know if people remember but i posted previously that i had had problems with aqua base, well i just applied a coat of aqua base in preperation to applying Nfu Oh 61 and it went on smooth. Right now i'm confused maybe if my nails hadn't been clean previously but they were as i followed all the advise i had read about holos. My thinking is perhaps the Aqua Base didn't respond well to ambiant temperture as last time i appied it it was summer and now its cooler thats the only thing that is different that i can think of.
not sure what rock ive been living under (im a major polish addict - have been for at least 7 years) but i just discovered Nfu Oh today (thank you so much pinterest)

I ordered 61 and 64 as well as FS12, 54 and 58, and I was also very disappointed by 61. 64 is soo much better, but chips within a day, so I'm thinking my 64 is "old" and 61 is new. I really really love the neon pink FS12 and wish I had ordered one more of that series instead of 61... :/
I broke down and bought MUS Greta. If it looks like I wanted 61 to look I'll probably use 61 for stamping and as a brushed silver that it is.

Ohh i want 64, i have 61, of the old batch i think, i like it in thoery but on... i swear whenever i wear it unless i put some nail art on it the pale silver of the base color make me look like i have alien hands. Did you get the Aqua Base to put under 61 and 64? they say it's better if you do. Is your bottle of 58 an orangy crimson with flakies? I ordered 59 but i think they sent me 58 instead...
im ordering 38, 51, 62 the Aqua Base and still deciding on GS14 - i wanted 61 but its out of stock of course!
Well 51 is beautiful if you love purple polish it's a must, I was going to suggest some of the flakies in the clear base but I see your getting 38, GS 14 doesn't do it for me I don't like anything with a black base but others have raved about it, it's another one that goes out of stock quickly.
really? i love dark bases so maybe ill get that GS14 - and deep purples are some of my all time favorite colors ... i definitely gravitate towards dark grey/blacks (not fully black unless its has some color in it or glitter to offset the black), silvers and purples
I'm ever-so-slightly too yellow-toned for 64 so I feel you on the basecolour washing out issue >.< But I think I'll wear a ruffian of a flattering colour with it so the 64 will be the center, if you know what I mean.
I don't have the Aqua base but since I tried my new MUA Greta today I think I'll jst buy MUA Aqua Fix since they sell the brand here so I don't have to order Nfu Oh Aqua Base from Viis.ee
My 58 is a rusty brown looking jelly base in the bottle, never tried it on it's own but on another polish it warms the shade a little. The flakies go from goldish to orangeish to green. I am lacking a purple flakie, I am considering Inglot 204. I already have Inglot...I think 205, maybe? and they are as good quality as Nfu-Oh. But Nfu-Ohs have bigger bottles....
52 is also purple but with blue multichrome flackies instead of the warm ones in 51. I know what you mean about purple it's my favorite, I think I'm out to collect every interesting purple polish there is. If you still want a silver holo though I hear Layla has some great ones that should be available at Ulta's and on their website though shipping is pricey.
lol I have a good holo 61 that make my hand look like those of little gray men but no 64 you have no 61 but 64 that doesn't suit your skin tone. (shakes head) i'm having an Alanis Morriset moment lol. I've heard the Inglot bottles are tiny you should check out swatches of 51 and 52 though my love is for 51 though that may chang when I get 52. Strange with the 59 then the swatches I've seen it's a berry color the color I have is an orangy crimson chock full of flackies it's very pretty but wrong for my skin tone I wouldn't have gotten it if I had known, plus it's frustrating as I still want the berry one sigh. Hmm Orly has a top coat polish called Love Each Other that has small purple and blue flakies, some might say they're sparkle flecks but they're a touch to big to be flecks, it's very pretty.
