has anyone heard what time the sale will start?

Hi, I will be in new York on the 23rd (leaving that night). Can anyone please advice what time usually people start to wait in line on the first day of the public sale.

Do the New York Hermes stores open on these days (from 21 to 23)??

I know they will have garden party bags on sale but will they have other bags??

The Vespa and drawstring bag will be there and, of course, the garden.

I think people start to queue a couple of hours before the doors open, at least on the first day or so. The stores are definitely open. And there won't be birkins or kellys (I am fairly confident) but other bags like the whitebus or others may be there in limited quantities.

In March people started to queue four hours before private sale opening and we were let in early, presumably because it was pouring rain.

I've seen people try it without any success, unless you know someone who already works there. If I was a betting woman, I would say no.

I too have fantasized about gate crashing this one...often wondered if some warm home made cookies might sway the security guards...

Does anyone else think it's strange that there's been no publicity whatsoever for this sale? BTW, I'm going to queue up around 8:15am or so. If anyone wants to meet me there, I'd live to see you.

I'm very seriously considering skipping some extremely important lectures to make this sale. Please excuse this question if it was already asked or answered, but generally (or specifically) what will be on sale? The newest season won't be on sale, right?
