If the NYC mega sale is around September 22, I wont be ablle to make it this year since I will be in Europe on business.
Really wanted to go this time, will try again in January 2010.

Sorry to say SusanVon, the 22nd it is... But I would take Europe anyday!!

thanks for the reply, I will have 6 Hermes stores to shop in this trip, including the one in the Copenagen airport and Denmark is not on the
dollar plus I get the 25% VAT back!
So I guess I will see everyone at the January 2010 sale!

What are the selection usually like?

Typically scarves and ties & belts. I don't recall any of the reversible kits though just the regular belts. Quite a bit of RTW and some shoes but not necessarily recent season. Lots of GP bags and similar, blankets and some leather wallets and stuff. Not your Bearns or kelly wallets but a Dogon or two would be likely. A few bits of household stuff. I do my xmas shopping of ties and scarves there.

is this sale as crazy as say the barney's warehouse sale where people start to line up hours before they're open? (meaning how early do i need to set the alarm clock...)

sorry if this is a stupid question, but are there ever any sale items at the NYC store throughout the year, or are the sales items strictly for the big sales held at outside venues?
