any idea if the GP's included in the sale could be all leather? I've never been-but I know the canvas/leather combo is...just wondering if anyone has seen an all leather GP on sale before?!

are there ever any of those silk 'ball' that hang on the leather cords...you can hang them on your handbag? I don't live near NY but maybe I can get someone to look for me?;)

Another SALE this year? Yes. It will be happening the week of September 21. Private Sale is on the 22nd. I'm not sure about the dates for the general public.

I happen to be visiting NYC that week and have already contacted my NY SA about an invite. Could you tell me how crowded the private sale it is likely to be? Do I have to turn up 5 hours before it opens and stand in line, etc.? This will be my first H sale outside of my country (where the sales are pretty dismal affairs), so I'm terribly excited!

Boutique sales are always before the Metropolitan Pavilion big sale. Anything not sold at individual boutiques is sent to the Metropolitan. The dates are different for each local H, so check with your friendly SA asap!

As for the all leather GPs, they will probably not be there (too new a product), but you will certainly see a lot of the canvas ones.

Just bought a few belts for DH, think if I go back to the store, I can get an invite, I went to the store on Wall Street .... what do you think?

On the digress: only because couldn't find a place for this question - I find it confusing that some of the bags sold/resold are shown with either of the two different kinds of dust bags, the signature orange felt, and the twill herringbone. So far, my items are packed in the herringbone dust bag, it is actually the one I prefer.

Appreciate if anyone can PM me and tell me where I can re-post this question .... and tell the mystery answer to my question, it's causing me sleepless nights.
