880, OMG, I can't believe that gorgeous Paris Bombay. I love that handbag in the larger sizes. I peeked at the photo of the table of PB and Plumes - I think had I been there I would have fainted dead away! I'm starting my H sale savings account now!!

SDSurf - congrats on your fab finds - can't believe you found TWO GMs. I have the fuchsia Marwari and love it to bits.

And I love the Chain d'Ancre scarf rings - I have several colors and buy every one that I can find. For some reason, I am simply unable to learn how to tie my scarves, so I wear a Cd'A every time I wear a scarf!!

Every time I read one of these threads I tell myself to get a plane ticket for the next sale!!

Congrats to all and enjoy your goodies!!

I did some personal shopping for friends who couldn't come to the sale. I've tried to attach a picture, but don't know if it will work until I hit send. I don't love the CdA ring cuz it's so heavy (I use two for arm reps), but they're such a good price and the colors were great. Also got a cool round black enamel and some gavroche and twilly rings. Bought some tumblers which I've been told I should stop calling "glass" because they're St. Louis Crystal. Sorry, I'm a scarfie and don't know much about the fancier stuff.

Hi Sdsurfchick,

Very nice haul! :smile1:

While you were getting your tumblers, did you happen to notice if there were any paperweights nearby? If there were, I'm going to have to impose on a NYC bud to go get me one!

After the haul I got yesterday (http://forum.purseblog.com/hermes/restricters-h-sale-haul-510306.html), I have no business thinking about going back today...right?

Congrats to all of you on your great purchases. Sdsurfchick, I'm blaming you for the fact I couldn't find any CdA scarf rings other than the little plastic ones. Also, LOL on not calling the tumblers "glass." I'd call it that too -- and made the mistake of saying it during the Baccarat sale. Oooh did I get an earful.

LOL

Restricter - if you go today could you post what you see? Esp in the way of SLG/bags/non90cm scarves?

sdsurfchick: gorgeous items! congratz! :woohoo:

matt-g: I saw at least 3 diff types of paper weight when I was there, sorry didnt pay attention to what pattern they were...hope this helps :smile1:

Thanks very much, shopaholic! SL millefiori paperweights are just so pretty, but when I see them at regular price, I always talk myself out of them. But at 70% off, I think I can indulge!

Thanks again!

From Penn station u can take the one train which is 3 stops away from 18 street. It should take no more than 20 min including waitingon the train and then it's less than half a block to the sale. You can a taxi too it should take more than 15 min butthat depends on traffic

traffic is messed up though. . . although it should be fine Penn station down to 18th st - it're really just cross town and midtown due to motorcades.
