Just went again tonight Tons of fragrance left. Noticeably fewer bags only 2 of the rouge garrance baby Bombay left. Lots of the baby trims in violet and turquoise chevre, fuschia and tangerine ostrich black too. Slgs were much less. Did not look like they were replenishing bags or slgs. Scraves and ties still plentiful. No shawls except those orchidy solid colored ones. Sad selection of gloves. Tons of belts for the woman with a 65cm waist. They fit around my head and that's about it! Shoes were ok but the boots were hideous. No replenishing there either. Crystal still there, nothing to write home about. Porcelain was lame. Clothing was not bad with decent size selections. There was one potamus 31cm trim in orange and black. Only pm garden parties and the weird vertical ones left. Also had a lot of small briefcases and tall whitebuses. Omnibuses still plentiful all Epsom. All the enamels were sold and they are not replenishing those. That's all folks. Until next spring!!

I dropped in again this evening. They had restocked enamels earlier but there were only two left, and I watched the prettier one vanish as it was being claimed. Scarves were still in abundant supply and there were about 10 beautiful mousses. I would have grabbed at least one but I own nothing that coordinates with electric green or blue.

Acting on a tip from the great 880 (seriously, again, THANK YOU), I scored not only the blue Fantaisie Pittoresque that I haven't shut up about, but also a brown Marquis de Lafayette (I'm a sucker for Benjamin Franklin) and one other amazing surprise...

I am in love. I love loafers and I'm head-over-heels for the Kelly turnlock detail.

Today's haul was small but very satisfying.

DBF and I will probably drop in on Saturday morning to check on the enamel situation one more time.

Well done Four Tails. I've said it before, will say it again many many times, I'm sure ... 880 is the sweetest and most effective enabler.

Four Tails, those are great shoes! I've never seen the detail on the Lafayette scarf--that's kinda cool!

I am kind of hoping to score a mousse Saturday if all goes well. I don't have one yet. In any case it sounds like there are plenty of scarves, which is enough to keep me happy!

I'm probably sneaking back tomorrow. Will update accordingly. Bad, bad thing to do before a job interview but I have a really good SA elsewhere who will hold my packages so I don't show up at my interview looking like Becky Bloomwood.

Thank you! They are a half size too big, but that's a simple modification. Even when I was trying them on, I used a bit of tissue paper in the back and that solved the problem quite well. Fashionable as that solution may be, I'll probably just see what Dr. Scholls has to offer. :p

Sometimes just putting gel insoles in makes them fit better.

Hi everyone,

No lines today, smooth entrance, and the line to pay was considerably shorter today, phew! didn't enjoy the almost 2 hour wait yesterday.
.. security and some SA recognized us and said many 'hi's' and 'welcome back'.
So far, been there daily since day one ..
Was there today around 3ish .. shelves was somewhat depleted, heard some whispering of re-stocking them (bags) .. must be gearing up for the weekend crowd.
.. Can't wait to see what they are re-stocking, the men's and women's shoes were also low in stock, plenty of RTW and fragrances.

Anyone see Ms Lucy yesterday? (Charlie's Angel)

question for the NYC ladies: how far is Penn Station from the Met Pavilion? I've tried to do a search and I'm getting mixed answers! TIA!

Hi christymarie340,

It's best to catch the F and get off @ 14th street walk towards 16th street exit (NE corner) now u'r only 2 blocks away and hang left to 125. Much quicker .... hope i'm not too late with directions. GL

Congrats Four tails! Am so happy for you! :D. SDsurfchick, you cannot blame me for enabling - you stuck to your list lol!

Maybe we will all see each other there! The staff is super nice!

Good luck on your job interview Restricter. . . Two of my dear tpf buddies - emailed me to check out your gorgeous ano cuff in your reveal thread - and ask me if I go back to check for an ano for them LOL.
