Serendipity struck and I was able to get to the sale around 10! The line was moving well (groups of 10 people every 5 minutes or so) and I got in pretty quickly. The enamels had been largely cleaned out yesterday and only about 2 dozen remained. Most were the GM size and narrow, though there were a few wide left. There were lots of scarves, though they did not have the blue Fantaisie Pittoresque that I wanted. Oh well.

As an example, last March there was not one mousseline on the private day. TWO days later there were dozens and they kept restocking through Saturday. I don't know if it was a last minute decision on Hermes' part to put out mousses, or if it is the event manager's decision to hold back things. Point being, yes, they restock, but there is no way of telling when and/or which items, at least to my knowledge.

I just came back - they were restocking enamels (in front of my eyes) - some of the people there were very knowledgeable some knew nothing - I spoke with someone who said they have a lot more things in back and will continue to restock and put out different things throughout the sale...

Does anyone know if there are still leather bracelets? I might go tomorrow, but that's all I'm interested in. It seems like the cashmere got cleaned out and I don't wear my current silks enough as it is to add any.
