Went this morning and was quite surprised by the varieties of goods this year, for one, there were enamel bracelets! There were a limit of 2 per customers and it was definitely one of the craziest sections. There were tons of bombays and I was really tempted to get the travel size in gold or red but the weight was finally what convinced me not to get it.
Here's my loot :D

Two bangles, a scarf ring (I've attached the string from my Lift horn and am turning it into a pendant as well), Kelly Caleche perfume, Les Chevaux Qataris scarf and a linen/silk "dress". The dress is pretty much a huge shawl (same size as my GM cashmere shawl) with two dangling ties at two corners for you to wear as an halter I guess, but I plan to use it as a shawl :D All in all it was great fun!

I can't make it until tomorrow, do you think there will be any enamels?
I know it was said that they were mostly gone, but do you think they will restock/pull more out from the back?

And about the enamels, did they have the H clic-clacs?

^may I ask where u saw the scarf rings? I didn't see any this morning. Thanks!

They were on a tray to the left of the enamels. There weren't any Chaine d'Ancres left (that I could see) by the time I got in there a little after 10.

I'm really glad to hear there were more enamels! I'm dragging DBF (yeah right, he loves H) back on Friday so hopefully we'll have some luck. Maybe he will find a half dozen pink ties to add to his existing collection of pink ties. I tried to look for things for him but I didn't have my game face on.

jackie683 - I didn't see any Clics or Clic-Clacs. Even if they had them, I would guess that they would sell out within moments.

Thank you Hermes Nuttynut and mishkaluv, my fav purchase today was def the dress/shawl, it has the les cles design on two of the 4 quarters and some interloped belts pattern that i dont recognize on the other two...:p I can't wait to wear it but given the dramatic change of temp back to the 80s, I might have to wait a couple of days...

ellelee: like four tails said scarf rings are next to the bangles on the tray where all the earrings/leather bracelets/rings/ are all mixed together, given the chaos, i had to dig really deep to find mine, there were a lot more of the green/orange/blue mini plastic trio chaine d'ancres than the big ones..

jackie683: sorry didn't see any clic clacs, by the time I left at around 11:30, most of the remaining bangles were the thin version with muted colors. One of the previous posters said she saw them restocking though so it's def worth checking it out tomo. Best of luck!

Ack, Paris Bombays for half what I paid in May?? :push:

I hear ya linda83.. DH bought me a Paris Bombay PM after a few weeks of me talking about it nonstop :p.. He broke down and did it just to stop my yammering but now he's a little peeved that he could have gotten one for 60% off! laugh. oh well. I figure the price doesn't change how much I love it and I will be sure to go to next year's sale and make up for it! gotta start saving now.

Shopaholic I hope you don't mind my butting in, as I have this wrap. The other design on it is Cavalcadour. Very classic and lovely. Congrats on some great gets. I also got a Qataris and Pittoresque twill and ... drum roll ... fuchsia Marwari and framboise CS GMs. 880 is quite the enabler.

880, OMG, I can't believe that gorgeous Paris Bombay. I love that handbag in the larger sizes. I peeked at the photo of the table of PB and Plumes - I think had I been there I would have fainted dead away! I'm starting my H sale savings account now!!

SDSurf - congrats on your fab finds - can't believe you found TWO GMs. I have the fuchsia Marwari and love it to bits.

And I love the Chain d'Ancre scarf rings - I have several colors and buy every one that I can find. For some reason, I am simply unable to learn how to tie my scarves, so I wear a Cd'A every time I wear a scarf!!

Every time I read one of these threads I tell myself to get a plane ticket for the next sale!!

Congrats to all and enjoy your goodies!!

Does anyone remember how much the evelyne straps were? Thanks!!

They are MUCH shorter, so short that you cannot wear it messenger style. They are however not short enough to make the bag like a shoulder bag. I thought the length was quite odd. They do look just like the eveylne straps though, so for those of you who want a shorter evelyne, you can use it for that. There are also luggage straps. There evelyne straps were $180 or $280...something 80.

:D You told your DH about the sale? :p Which color/leather combination did you get? I bought the PM in etoupe epsom in Paris. I guess I paid for the experience ;) And the past four months of owning it... I like your thinking of making up for it by going to the sale next year! I'm in California, but the sale prices will definitely make up for the airfare!
