Good sale for me yesterday. I went at 10:30 and got in at noon. I went with a dear tPFer who helped with my scarf quota as he didn't buy any...:heart::smooch:Anyway....I got mousselines..including a special beaded one, twills and some enanels. At these prices, it was hard not to buy more!

They were restocking and hope they continue to do so....I hope all who brave the lines are rewarded!!! Good luck!

I have been to past Hermes sale, never saw anything like today. I have not waited in line for this looooong, never left empty hand.
The line was all the way to 9th ave at 5:30pm. I don't think I will go back tomorrow, I had enough. They should find a way to manage the line better, not to waste people's time.

I am so sorry that you wasted the day [emoji20] Are they going to let you in ahead of the line tomorrow? They really should!

Five scarves limit is very tough. I got a 90 twill, a dip die, a jersey, a 45 and a beaded.

It was not an easy trip for us to go to the city during the week but with sales like this, let say we are happy girls at the end of the day.

Great finds! Twins on the Aloha dip dye and perfore scarf ring! I did not see that LdT bangle...so pretty, is it a 65 or 70? Love the other scarves and hat! Congrats!

I am so sorry for this wasted day. If they have you a ticket for tomorrow, you get to jump the line and go in first. I hope they did and you can get in and out tomorrow morning and get a few nice things. Good luck!

From conversations overheard in line today (and the scene was horrendous, my friends) I believe that an inordinate number of those in line were large groups of tourists who were parts of tour groups. Their leaders were very upset that they would not be accommodated when the sale staff decided to close up shop at 5:30. Wish I had a happier report for you. We put our hours in..no luck.

Waited in line for 5 hours. Was told we would not get in and can come tomorrow or Saturday. No they didn't give tickets to anyone already in line. I took the day off work, drove 3.5 hours (luckily no traffic) each way, and paid all those tolls just to leave empty handed. I knew this would be a possibility but my heart did sink when they casually shouted we're all not getting in. Others were way angrier because they constantly asked staff about the wait, and they'd reply with they don't know or it's hard to say...

So misleading and even as it became evening and the line wasn't moving, they still allowed people to line up. 1 staff member said some shoppers were inside for 3 hours! Seriously that's ridiculous and inconsiderate knowing others are waiting to get in. I understand that they don't want to rush shoppers but they really should have a time limit for groups and better line management.

So seriously don't waste your time unless you line up at dawn- you'll still have to wait hours to get in. With my spot, I might have gotten in in 2 days lol.

I believe it. No offense but the line looked like a Chinatown bus. And I'm Chinese lol. A lot of the folks in line did not look like regular H shoppers, but with cheap prices, I bet a lot of people are having their 1 shot to buy H or buy to resell. Some older ladies in line did talk about H and their previous sales experience; they were very upset how this one panned out.

Unreal. Back in the days when I didn't have an invite to the private day, there were 2-3 hour waits to get inside. Even so, it was fun. This? This doesn't look like fun. It looks like the very opposite of fun. Kudos to everyone's stamina and determination. I hope you score something amazing today.
