I just got $250 off a lou camera bag on Saks!!! On top of that, I got an additional 10% off for signing up for a store credit card. On top of that, I got 10% back from *********** !!! I ended up choosing black with silver hardware. I debated about the smog and the black with gold hardware, but ended up deciding that the silver filled the hole that my Louis Vuitton bags could not, since they are all gold.

How’d you get the 250 off?

Thanks for sharing that! I’m going to return my Nordstrom one as I haven’t used yet and will buy from saks! Nordstrom won’t prove honor

I got the camera bag from saks yesterday too, but for canadian ***********, I got 1.5% only.
Anyone know the difference between the two attached bags? The dimension is 0.25 inch off.

There were no more gold or silver hardware when i purchased yesterday.
Thanks!

I’ve noticed that too On other websites. I think it’s just last year versus this year’s model

Hello. Does anyone have a 10% off code they will not be using? I have never shopped Saks and they say it might take 24 hours to get a code. I was hoping to apply it to a YSL bag today. Thank you!

I had the black quilted with silver hardware in my Saks cart and was so excited to use the $250 off and by the time I went to checkout, it was gone! :( Sold out!!!
So naturally, now I'm obsessed with getting one in black and silver and of course, I can't find one on either Saks, Neimans, Bergdorfs... Plus, I am now kicking myself to have to pay full price when I could have gotten it for so much less. Sniff, sniff.

So now I need help deciding between these 2:
I found a black shiny calfskin with silver but it's not quilted and the quilted one only comes with gold and it is also currently on backorder.
The ideal bag might be the quilted with silver hardware but in case I can't find that one, what do you guys think of these? I think both have pros and cons.

Non-quilted black with silver hardware:
The silver hardware is so beautiful on this one. So elegant and muted.
The non-quilted one also looks easier to match and is definitely more durable with that textured leather which won't scratch as easily as the lambskin. It is definitely a more casual bag than the quilted one but not as casual as say a Givenchy Pandora Mini I almost never wear because it is really casual and although very comfortable and spacious, it dresses down your outfit, so I can only wear it to music concerts, theme parks and very casual outings. Not to a nice dinner, for instance.
Another pro is I haven't seen the non-quilted one anywhere whereas the quilted one is Everywhere I look.

Black quilted with brass-gold hardware:
It dresses up an outfit instantly.
It is definitely beautiful too and dressier than the non-quilted one, but is it too limiting with the quilting and the gold? (I wear a lot of black with silver accessories, like a rock and roll kinda vibe.)
The leather is more delicate than the shiny calfskin for sure.
I also don't love the quilting plus tassel detail. For me, it's too much (not like the Gucci Soho disco which only has the tassel and no quilting), but it is removable so that would solve the issue.

Another thing is I really, really want a black Gucci Marmont in either a mini camera bag, a round crossbody or the new mini bucket (I had a small camera but returned it cause I never reached for it, never wore it ) but I also want something I can actually wear comfortably, so if I go for this one with golden brassy hardware, I probably wouldn't get that black Marmont after all.

I think I'm leaning towards the non-quilted calfskin, especially since they seem to be getting impossible to get in silver, but would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks, guys!

Thanks! I actually don't love that one. I don't think the black on black stands out, you know? I love the contrast the metals create but if they're the same color as the leather, it kind of blends in. I'd rather get the embossed version in that case but since I already have 2 disco sohos (with embossed logos too), I wanted some hardware on this one.
But I'll still look at it one more time. Thanks again for the feedback, darling!

Did you end up getting any of the bags? I think you should definitely go with silver hardware because that’s what you were initially drawn too and it sounds like it will match most of your outfits.

The non quilted style is really chic and does look durable. It depends if you want the chevron quilting or not. :)

Thanks, darling! I ended up ordering all 3, lol! I'm still deciding. I have ordered 3 of the quilted with silver already, because they've all been sent with indentations, marks, loose thread, etc. UGH! So frustrating. Makes me wonder if the quality of these quilted bags is just not there or if the problem is how these department stores store/wrap/ship these bags, or maybe they've sent me all returned/used bags?!
I think the quilted version is so much more striking and beautiful, but I won't settle until I find a perfect one. I'll keep you posted!

Does anyone own the one in croc embossed leather with gunmetal hardware?
Or another ysl bag in this leather? Do they wear well, how's the interior etc?
I love the edgy look of it, but I have no way of seeing it in person before - any opinions?
Thank you! :flowers:

EDIT: @BrowFactory I see an older post where you mention that you bought this bag - do you enjoy it?
