I was able to get my hands on the display 24/24s in London's Bond Street store a few days ago ( there are plenty on display but the stock to sell hasn't arrived yet so no buying was possible). The bags are lighter than I thought, soft but with structure. The seams, so I am told, have metal pieces incorporated within them so that the bags can't get too squishy. Access and securing the flap are easy - far easier than a Kelly. But what struck me was that the opening is a bit constrained by the structure of the bag so the wide openness of the Kelly and Birkin isn't a feature - better for keeping things a bit more private or if what you really need in a handbag is being obliged to rummage for what you want. Having said that they are very beautiful and the fact the sturdy flap has barenia on the top is a bonus. I only saw dark single colours. Tempting though.

I tried a 29 cm but unlike you, I found it heavy. My heaviest bags are a B30 in ostrich and with straps a Lindy 26 in Clemence that I’ve worn once (other than that, K25s and B25s, so as you can see I don’t wear heavy bags).
I think I tried a bleu nuit and at my home H I saw a black one.
Of the bags I never gave a second thought until I tried them, the Cinhetic was the one I fell in love with. I didn’t buy it because I needed a bigger everyday bag and my K25 that can be used for the same occasions (but she’s definitely on my wish list!)

Thx! Argh makes my decision tough- 24/24 has great size but the Lindy is just so fun to carry!
I tried a 24/24 29 and ended up buying a Lindy. I think the 24/24 has a chic design, but it’s a bit heavy and the strap seems a bit like an afterthought. On the other hand the Lindy is a great conversation piece, design wise and it’s very comfortable to carry on the shoulder or by hand (although my advice is try it in different leathers if you can to gauge the difference in weight. I bought it in Clemence and even though I love how luxurious it is, I love Swift just as much and I’m sure would have been much lighter. My 2 cents.
