For those more experienced and well versed on H colors and how they appear on different leathers: I came across this beautiful neutral 24/24 on Sotheby’s site. Is the description correct? This says etain and etoupe although to me it looks like etoupe and gold. I’m sure I’m wrong. This must be a SO since it has a horseshoe stamp correct?

I agree with you that it doesn't look like gris étain. It's hard to tell from this phot what the actual colors are, but it is a very interesting combination!
Also, it has a lot of veining, so I would say it looks more like Togo than taurillon Clemence.
Yes, the horseshoe stamp means that it is an à la carte (special order) bag.
I love the 24/24 in size 29. Keep us posted if you decide to investigate further!
It’s hard to tell since the leather is different so they dye saturation will be off vs when we compare Togo etain and etoupe. I’ve seen some etain tha look fairly light but since the handle latch area is in swift, the etoupe will be
darker and more saturated than normal and make the etain look even lighter. It could be right. But neither looks like gold to me.
ETA it says Evercolor for the latch area….too hard to tell with my phone resolution but the leather looks smooth.

I've had mine (29cm, BF) for a few years and it's one of my most used non B/K bags. The only thing that I don't love is the longer strap...it's a bit short and thin for the weight of the bag, and I intend to get a longer/wider strap for shoulder/crossbody use.
I have two of the 29 size and I will say, one is much slouchier than the other, which I love because it makes them so different. I fully agree that the only thing I dislike about the bag is the thin, short strap. Yes it looks nice draped over the bag while carrying top handle, but it’s far too narrow for the weight of the bag. I purchased a “Kelly pocket strap” and it makes the bag a perfect crossbody. The strap makes all the difference. I’ve also used my strap from my Evelynne 29. It’s an amazing bag that’s under the radar. You’ll love it.Hi! Agree with @WingNut and @ineedsomething. I love the bag. But it actually doesn’t hold as much as you think it would. I would say about same capacity as k25 retourne.Hi!
