New Hermes Bag: 2018 24/24 Bag

Wanted to share a few pictures of my 24/24 in the 29cm on because I couldn’t find many while researching. As well as a little review. I do find the tilt when on the shoulder to be a smidge annoying (second photo shows how it naturally hangs on me). I find that I naturally wear it on the crook of on my arm or use the top handle most. If I add a longer strap it doesn’t hang off my body as much. Overall I love the casual vibes and ease of this bag. I like that it has a sporty vibe that the K or B don’t have imo. I will admit it does get heavy but I just rotate between shoulder, hand, & arm when I’m out.

Congrats on your lovely 24/24. The Hermes 50 MM width, 105 cm length canvas strap works well for crossbody with the 24/24 29.

I just came across this thread. I’ve had my 29 for almost 2 years. And while I’m not a twilly-on-handles kind of gal, made an exception for this because of the colour. I never used the strap, and would tuck the bag under my arms (ala clutch) if I need both hands. It’s a 3-season bag, and transitions nicely from spring-summer-fall… work or play

Congrats! Old posts mentioned you can also get a strap from Etsy. Just google it and you’ll be able to find a bunch. The flipperball or normal color guitar strap goes very well with it! And you can customize the length. I’m too tall for 85cm and too short for 105cm. I got a 95cm and wears perfectly. Hth!

I’m now rethinking my 24/24 Mini in etoupe with gold hardware. It is beyond difficult to get into and I still haven’t worn it because it just seems so “meh” to me. I’m thinking of selling it to Fashionphile. Would love others thoughts on how they deal with this bag. It fits a few key things but is so difficult to get into with the top opening being so small!

I have 2 right now both 29s. My other one is craie/beton. I seriously want to add one more lol.

What colors do you have? Are they all the same size or do you have various sizes? If various, which size do you like the best? Do you use the shoulder strap too or just hand carry? I prefer hand carry because the thin strap on the 29 is just strange to me. I bought a separate H thicker strap to use with my gold 24/24 that makes it better. Sorry for all the questions lol.

I have them in gold, etain, bleu saphir and bambou. They are all in 29 cm because I always carry a lot and am a creature of habit. I wouldn’t mind adding a few more in this size to my collection in other neutrals and ideally in a bright blue if Hermes ever make one in this size.

With respect to the strap, I nearly returned my first 24/24 due to the awkward strap! I didn’t want to give up on this bag style so I bought a custom adjustable strap off Etsy, with the leather parts matching with my bag color. That was a game changer for me and led me to get three more 24/24. I wear the bag crossbody since I find that the 24/24 sits the best near the waist/hip area.

I collect a lot of handbags across brands and 24/24 is my absolute favorite. Selfishly, I hope that it stays under the radar because I like that barely anyone recognizes it and we just appreciate it for the style only.
