New Carryall in Monogram Empreinte

Thanks so much! They had several Carry All PMs in stock but none looked like the gorgeous website photos. Also the style looked and felt more plain in person to me. You will probably laugh, but I have been admiring the black Speedy 20 off and on for awhile — just assumed it would be too small to be useful for me. Yesterday I was able to try one at the store and it easily held my daily items. So I’m going to give myself a few days to think it over, and watch a few more Speedy 20 YouTube videos….

The Speedy fits a lot.
It is always in its box because I ordered a YSL yesterday and already received it. I wanted to be sure about the Speedy 20. The Speedy is so beautiful in black empreinte that the YSL is going to go back. And now I have 2 Speedy 20 in empreinte leather and one in 25 damier azur !

This is so great to hear bbcerisette66! The more I think about it I am even more sure this will be just right for me. I love that it is an updated version of a timeless style. I actually really like the strap it comes with (I know not everyone does). If you think of any downsides to consider please let me know! Otherwise I will post photos once I go back to LV, probably on Sunday… Thank you so much for your kind words and very helpful posts about your Speedy 20’s.

I just received my carryall pm empriente and I think it's a beautiful bag! I'd like to wear it over the shoulder but when I put the straps on the shortest setting, the bottom of each strap hangs down below the bag and it looks very messy. Is anyone else having this issue? I'd like to try to make it work but not sure that I can live with the straps.

I set mine on the second to the last strap like they show on the website! This also allows the strap to drape beautifully.

I wonder if there will be a market for the flat pouch that comes with the Carryall? Are you all using the pouch with your Carryalls?

I have two neverfull pouches in Empreinte leather and I’m using the one that came with my carryall today.

MrsB Lux Lvoe did a really nice YouTube video on her new Empreinte Carryall PM including mod shots. I think that the PM is sufficiently smaller than the Artsy to justify having both. I’m waiting for mine on order.

This is a great video! I think I'd probably go for the MM though... I just can't seem to bring myself to buy smaller bags anymore. Because, ya know, young kids and all their crap! Haha

I’ve ordered one in the MM size this morning, it should be delivered tomorrow. I don’t have an artsy but I can make comparisons to NF GM, MM, Maida. So far, I have these photos.

Hi Everyone! So, I tried on the Carryall PM in store today, here is a very hasty selfie I took (sorry for the bad quality). I'm only 5'2" (158cm) and I do wish the strap was slightly longer crossbody. The top portion of the bag also folds in slightly when worn, this shot is the bag filled with my things. I did not buy today, am going to sleep on it. Please note--I looked at 2 different bags in store and on both bags--the gold LV on the luggage tags were off-center. One of the bags also had a scuff mark on the leather.

Aww that's disappointing about the gold LV being off center. Let us know if you decide to purchase!

Thanks for this. I don’t like black bags, and have been wondering about this. I have it in mono (just got it Mon) and am going to investigate tomorrow. I think the mono may be more interesting?

I like the look of the mono, but I don't like that it has those weird ties instead of a zipper!

I saw it today in person and it’s lovely. It’s so much nicer in person than online. It’s super smooshy (much more so than the madia) and for my 5’10” frame it was perfect. On my wish list it goes……
